Signed a contract for a Senior Associate position at Indelible, and was relocating from Australia to NYC. Turns out, they did not do their due diligence on the visa which I sent 6-8 weeks prior, and proceeded to give me an offer (I made sure to mention the visa in every of the 10 conversations I had with indelible, and they said they were EXTREMELY excited to have me on the team). After I left my job and my lease in Australia, and finalising a lease in NYC, they told me they messed up and did not conduct due diligence, and cannot apply for the visa (weeks after signing the contract). Took no accountability on the issue and ignored my emails. Left me stranded in the most unprofessional way possible.
