We used tippet-richardson for our move from Calgary to California. I dealt with Lynn from the office and Doug the driver and both were wonderful. The movers came the day before and spent a few hours organizing and packing. The day of move also went extremely smoothly and I felt confident in the way our items were handled and the professionalism and experience of the moving team. Our shipment arrived quickly in California. We put our items in a storage unit. The drivers were kind enough to leave their moving blankets on some of our fragile items (which is not something they are required to do). I was concerned and it was very kind of them not to unwrap as it would have been our responsibility to rewrap them while in storage and prior to moving the furniture again. We have since moved our items out of storage into a house and nothing is broken etc. The only minor thing to note is that there was some confusion on how to fill out the paperwork prior to the driver crossing the border but because I had moved some items a few months back I knew the correct way it needed to be completed. This was a bit surprising given they are an international bonded company for US to Canada and incorrect paperwork could cause problems at the border. However, they are a reputable company with a skilled moving team and I am very pleased with how everything went.

The folks at Tippet-Richardson were incredibly helpful and willing to go "beyond the call of duty" to help me coordinate this move. Lynn Audras was warm and friendly, and was a wealth of information related to local talent to help with the crating of my shipment,. She perfectly coordinated three different local actors to put the shipment together, and it arrived quickly and in prefect condition. For my next move my first call will definitely be to Tippet-Richardson, and Lynn.

We relocated from Calgary to Florida in July. Lynn from Tippett Richardson arrived and surveyed what we were taking with us, she was great to work with and was bang on with the estimated weight. She answered all our questions and if she didn’t know, she found the answer for us. She was great to work with. The driver Mahames was great, he was so fast and efficient in the load and move out. They took about 2 weeks to arrive and all our goods arrived to our new home. The unload was just as great and the loading, fast and efficient. I would have no problem recommending Tippet Richardson Calgary and Lynn to do any cross country or international move. Thanks to the whole team.

Such a wonderful company! All of the staff are so amazing, they take such great care of your items while you move. The office staff, drivers, dispatch and movers are just exceptional people! 10/10 recommend!

Worst moving experience we’ve ever had. Never got a final detailed invoice, but credit card was charged $4K more than original quote. What was the additional charge for, specifically? Never was communicated to us. Showed up 3 weeks late to destination, furniture assembly was incomplete, scope of work in estimate included taking away all materials but movers got in their truck and left everything behind. We explained to Lorraine Piraux that we had a second stop at our storage unit next door to our new residence destination and was told that wouldn’t be a problem. Should have got that in writing from her, it cost us an additional fee upon arrival. Wendy Howard promised to send us a detailed invoice showing what we were charged for. We never got it. Several items were crated in wooden crates, uncrating crew never showed up (movers wouldn’t touch the crates, “we don’t do crates.”) So disappointed in this experience. Will never us them or any Allied Moving affiliate again.

We moved on April 16/24, looked outside and it was snowing, wet snow and blowing.......ugh but this did not impact our movers, we referred to them as the dream team. They were prompt, efficient and kind. We will definitely be hiring them for our next move and we highly recommend them. The company move consultant, Lynn, provided a estimate that was right on. She was great to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. Great experience from start to finish.

I can't say enough good about Tippet-Richardson (and in particular Lynn A. - my relocation consultant) for the extra-great service they provided for my move. From the initial assessment and quote, the free use of moving boxes, and accommodation of unexpected changes in my move, they even provided last-minute storage for 10 days of my household goods. Lynn, the moving staff at both ends of the move, the front office and warehouse people - everyone was professional, accommodating, supportive and a dream to work with. I can't thank Tippet-Richardson enough for their support and help during a stressful move time! This was definitely 5-star service.
