I like to let people know when I have had great service from a business, and so I want to recommend LAS Moving in Calgary. Organizing a move, big or small takes a lot of planning.You need to be able to rely on professional vendors who you don’t have to worry about once they are booked in. These guys followed up a couple of times prior to the day and stayed in touch by message on the actual day, so I never had to worry about loosing contact with them. I also appreciated how efficient they were during the move and also their friendly attitudes.
Competitively priced too. Great stuff.

I recently moved from my rented apartment to my new house, and Las Movers made the process so much easier. I had a lot of stuff to move, including heavy cupboards, beds, and fragile items requiring extra care. The team did an excellent job handling everything with utmost professionalism, ensuring all items were safely loaded and unloaded at my new place.

What really impressed me was their flexibility and customer service. I had to dump some furniture on a Sunday, and they kindly agreed to keep it in their truck and dump it on Monday without any issues. They also safely stored some items they had forgotten to unload and returned them promptly.

Their pricing was very reasonable compared to other moving companies, making the whole experience even better. I'm truly grateful for their reliable and thoughtful service and would highly recommend Las Movers to anyone in need of a stress-free moving experience!

Las Moving and storage is the best choice for all your moving needs, their service was excellent from start to finish. The process was seamless, they ensured that my items were well taken care of throughout the move. Great teamwork, communication and support for a great price. The weather and other challenges occurred during the moved but they overcame all the obstacles and maintained composure and professionalism to complete the move. They were clean and efficient ensuring that the floors and carpets were kept clean and that there was no damage to walls and fixtures. I recently used Las Moving for my move, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received! From the moment I reached out for a quote, their customer service was top-notch. The team was prompt, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process.

On moving day, the crew arrived right on time, ready to work. They handled my belongings with such care – wrapping furniture and delicate items to ensure everything arrived in perfect condition. Their efficiency was impressive; what I thought would take all day was completed in just a few hours!

I used Las Moving May 29, 2024 (move out) and June 5, 2024 (move in). As a new company on their own, they offered me a very low price for moving. Although they promised excellent service, I cannot give them a 5 star review. Long read below but worth it if you’re looking for movers.

There ended up being days of storage when they originally said my items would stay in the truck. This meant everything was moved four times instead of twice. Items were lost or damaged because of this. When sharing which items were missing, Kristina was sweet and apologetic whereas Las was defensive and said he “lost money” on my move because of the low price (when he was the one that offered it). It was quite rude and didn’t have anything to do with the fact that items were lost and damaged. In the end, there was some financial compensation but the initial response was not kind. I needed to reach out several times over the next few weeks for the compensation to actually transfer. Again, this is thanks to the kind Kristina as Las dismissed me.

Price definitely effected quality as I’m finding more damage to items (upright freezer has multiple dents and scratches on the front door, dents to the bbq, and dents/marks to master bed legs). These were new items bought within the year. Money was sent to me to help replace missing items (office chair, kitchen items), but I need to replace other items still missing. I also have a box that is not mine still at my home. I’ve mentioned the box three times and have been ignored. Las said it was out of his way to pick it up. So another customer of theirs is also missing their items and this company does not care.

The reaction to the missing/broken items affected my review. Las is keen to get his business going, and is a smooth talker, but definitely made me feel low value as a customer compared to the “white glove” he offers to bigger jobs and told me about.

Pros: price, team worked hard and fast
Cons: items missing and damaged are disregarded/unimportant, rude to customer when discussed

Would I recommend them for moving?
Yes, for the price. No, for the quality.

I booked them for a move only 4 days in advance . They arrived on time very friendly and polite, they took the time to wrap wood furniture in blankets they were quick about loading and unloading .
The price was fair as we negotiated cost before hand. No issues , would I use them again absolutely. Would I recommend them yes,

While the company took care of most items I would not recommend paying by the hour. They couldn't have moved any slower, took 1.5 hours to drive 30 mins to the drop off location, Which they of course charged for.
The mover they sent was quite a bit older. So no hustle available. Probably renting a uhaul is a better option or paying a flat rate. You'll be watching the clock in frustration if you pay these guys by the hour. They actually charged more than what they quoted for the flat rate vs hourly even though there were less items to move when they showed up. I had sold some items the night before and 2 bed frames and 2 mattresses theat were quoted never moved.
I took a lot of the stuff out of the house during the move myself after realizing they were going to milk the time out as far as they could.

On a positive note they did protect the floors and showed up on time.
