I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a fishing expedition in Prince Rupert. As an outdoorsman my experience with Sunset Charters truly exceeded all expectations.

From the moment we met Sunsets team passion for fishing and his extensive knowledge of the local waters and fish were evident. They greeted us warmly and quickly established a comfortable and friendly atmosphere on board their well-equipped boat. The professionalism and attention to detail were apparent from the start.

One of the highlights of our trip was undoubtedly the abundance of spring salmon we caught under Sunsets teams guidance. It was clear that they had a deep understanding of their behavior, migration patterns, and preferred fishing techniques. Sunsets expertise in locating the hotspots and setting up the gear perfectly ensured that we had the best chance of reeling in those prized spring salmon.

Not only did Sunsets team help us catch a lot of fish, but they also provided valuable insights and tips throughout the journey. They patiently answered all our questions, shared interesting anecdotes, and genuinely cared about making our fishing experience unforgettable. Their ability to connect with each member of our group, regardless of their fishing expertise, was commendable.

We went on a 3 day charter, the first day we had Dave as our guide and it was a great day catching Salmon, Lings and finnished up with some crabbing.

The second and third day we had Bobby as our guide, both days were highly enjoyable and action packed.

The guides were amazing! Both were knowledgeable and enjoyable to chat with the entire day; they both kept us in the action catching fish while we were out.

It was my first time ocean fishing, but it won't be the last. I'll be booking with Sunset Charters again.

Went out with Dave last week.and had a great trip. He was super busy making sure everyone had a chance at some decent fishing. My buddies and I did both fishing and an overnight stay at their camp as part of a bachelor trip. We had two boats and both Dave and Blake were awesome. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. They work hard to make sure you have an amazing time. By far one of the best trips I've ever done. Highly recommend the overnight charter.

Most comfortable, capable boat I have had the pleasure to fish on. David Eng who is the Charter owner and operator/guide was very very capable. A pleasure to fish with. I learnt more about west coast fishing from him than any other charter I have been on. He worked very hard for us and made the experience a joy. My three girls enjoyed the time on the water and I would recommend Sunset Charters for someone looking to bring the family fashing. Fishing and weather were great and it was nice that Dave offered opportunities to look at seals and whales during our two days. He listened to what we wanted to do, and he delivered. That in of itself is truly amazing. We were able to do what we wanted, when we wanted and he only offered best suggestions to accomplish those requests. This was going to me my last chance at hiring a charter, if this one turned out to be like the others I was going to buy my own boat. Luckily for me I get to fish on the cheap now and just pay Dave at Sunset Charters for my future trips. Save your money and don't buy a boat, just hire Sunset Charters.
