Hôtel choisi pour deux nuits sur la route de la ruée vers l'or.|L'hôtel se trouve au bord de la route, l'accès est facile êtes placés nombreuses. Plusieurs grands magasins sont à 2 minutes à pied font un Walmart.|Hall et lobby sont encore frais, le reste du bâtiment accuse son âge.||Les chambres mériteraient un rafraîchissement (moquettes vieillottes, murs défraîchis, carrelage et joints de la salle de bain par endroits cassés). Le ménage n'est pas fait correctement : un verre est retrouvé sous une table, de la poussière inonde la table où repose la TV.||Il a beaucoup plu durant les deux nuits. Les chambres du 3ème étant sous le toit, le bruit a été infernal! Je n'ai jamais vécu cela ailleurs! Même les boules-quies n'ont pas pu absorber tout le bruit, sans parler du personnel de ménage bruyant dans le couloir dès 7:00.||Enfin, fuyez le Denny's, restaurant adjacent (cf. Mon commentaire sur la page consacrée).||Bref, un hôtel de passage si vous ne trouvez rien ailleurs.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were super clean and looked fresh and new. We were stuck in town overnight due to a vehicle breakdown, and we were given access to our rooms right away and also offered a late checkout time for the next day in case our van wasn’t fixed by checkout time. We would definitely stay here again!

All the staff I interacted with were really welcoming and professional. The decor is fresh and modern, right from the lobby to the rooms and anywhere in between. The black and white framed pictures of classic Cariboo scenes were a nice touch. I'd definitely stay again.

*Congrats on the renovations. I stayed here once around 2019 and the new ambience is a real step up!

Hopefully the Shark Club or reasonable equivalent will reopen VERY SOON. Denny's is not a good match for a 3-star hotel and south-end of town could use a decent pub.

I had a wonderful experience at the Sandman in Quesnel! I was visiting for the Quesnel Dance Festival. We had two dancers and two moms and had requested a room with 2 beds. When arrived we found we were unfortunately booked by the sandman central booking system a room with one King bed and there was no way we could fit all 4 of us on one bed lol. Luckily for us Jessica was working and when the issue was identified she worked quickly to resolve it. She conferred with the general manager Brent to find a solution. It was resolved so quickly I barely had time to panic. Both Jessica and Brent were professional, kind and friendly which are reasons I will be staying at the sandman for any future overnight stays in Quesnel. On top of that I also had interactions with other staff like Brandon who stated he was a new employee and everyone was also friendly and professional, a great representation of management. They want and care that we had a positive experience. I would 10/10 recommend but would add to speak with them directly!

Great hotel. The suites are beautiful and well-maintained, and the amenities are great, including a pool and restaurant (though, it is Denny's). Good coffee every morning. The hotel is right next to a few restaurants as well as WalMart and No Frills if you prefer to buy groceries.

Staff was fantastic.

No complaints and I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent and reasonable prices. Beds not so fantastic in the room we had but everything was very clean. Quiet and felt like home away. Def would stay again

We checked in late after a long day of driving & the front desk staff was SO welcoming!! Both who were working were so genuine & made us feel comfortable right away. Devan answered all of my questions easily & offered my daughter a small puzzle to do and keep while I was getting my bearings. Our room was clean and quiet. There was tons of parking too. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Great stay. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Summer, the Front Desk Manager, even let me borrow her scraper to remove the snow from my car after it snowed. Definitely staying here again, even if it's on the south end of town and not the downtown.
