I've never used movers before and if I had to again I would definitely go back to Brawny Movers. The guys were really nice and helpful. They had to separate everything between a storage unit and apartment and had no trouble staying organized or asking questions when needed. Two of them moved my upright piano easily, which usually took about 4 people and a lot of time in the past. They even had their own tools to make sure nothing got scratched or broken while they were moving everything. There was only so much room to work with at the storage unit but the boys managed to make everything fit without any trouble. And I couldn't believe how quickly they got the job done! Very professional, would recommend to anyone needing movers. Thanks for everything!

This was my first time hiring professional movers and I can’t recommend them enough! Travis and Dawson were fantastic. My apartment has a very long walk to where the truck can park and the two of them powered right through the challenge. They were right on time, efficient and professional. Brawny had two additional movers help unload at the new house and they were wonderful despite some unexpected delays from the exiting tenants and an icy driveway. I can’t thank these guys enough for the help keeping a stressful day as stress free as possible.

The team of four, Travis, Andrew, Peter and Dawson were extremely professional, friendly, careful, and yes, brawny…move included an upright piano. They were hard working and organized. We labelled each box with colour-coded Post-It notes with the room they were going to, and this made things more efficient.
We would highly recommend.

Me(which has gone unanswered):I'm sorry for not checking my email, I wasn't expecting a further bill after the way your employee talked. He made it seem like you considered their error and your favour of more truck space a wash and that was going to be the end of it.
Even though there was no monetary value, it was mine and it can never be replaced. Your crew broke it when they had no need to be wrapping mattresses in the living room - it should have been done before leaving the bedrooms. Not to mention lack of efficiency, why are we moving furniture room to room instead of room to truck? Regardless, acknowledgement, John. Acknowledgement from you as the owner was what I was looking for and you did not. Nor do you have any appreciation for the fact you're responsible for breaking something irreplaceable.
With every negative review you have gotten, it seems you claim they are all "unfair". Really maybe it explains why you had so much extra time to help us Wednesday or Thursday. I saw you had availability those days, but I booked it Friday cause that's when I, as the customer wanted it. Maybe your free schedule should have been my red flag.
I recommend when researching companies you look at the negative reviews and see how John responds to each with zero professionalism and zero accountability. All unhappy customers are at fault.
I also didn't add garage things initially. I told them the exercise bike, work bench(the contents were already moved over by us), and some fiberglass panels were what they were to move. They took it upon themselves to empty the rest and that's when I spoke up about time. I also never said I wouldn't pay any of the remainder of the bill, but certainly expected acknowledgement and a resolution prior to paying any balance. As your crew left, Travis suggested you would follow up and deal with the matter, which was not the case. It's almost like your month has been so slow you offer more trucks as a favour when really you know the labour will line your pockets in the time of need.

We used Brawnys last week and are not impressed. We ordered a 26ft truck with three men. We only had heavy furniture to move as everything else had been moved over prior or we were going to fit in a pick up truck at a later date.
The morning of we get a message from John saying he sent 2 16 foot trucks, instead of the 26ft truck, as if he's doing us a favor. We didn't need the whole 26 foot truck, let alone 32 feet....
One of the workers was bagging up a mattress in the living room (why this wasn't done upstairs in the bedroom I'm not sure), and repeatedly hit a blown glass ball ornament (which was passed down from my grandma) against the window. Once the mattress was wrapped, he dropped it on its side so that it wasn't leaning up into the window. Shortly after the mattress thudded to the ground, the ball came off the hook and shattered.
Since the trucks were there and the second one barely had anything in it, we did add things from the garage that we were going to take later. I told the guys we wanted to stay around our 4 hour time and they said when we use 2 16 ft trucks, it's generally 2 hours each just to fill.
By Wednesday of the following week, I have not received any acknowledgement of the damage left, which really has no monetary value but a whole lot of family/sentimental value and only caused by carelessness. The only thing I did receive was an added bill for the extra labour. Which I wouldn't have used if I knew that filling these two trucks he gave us didn't come with the labour. It's fine, we used the time fair and square, but the lack of acknowledgement and resolution to their damage is disheartening

Brawny Movers helped me today moving some large in-house items, from basement to main floor and vice-versa. An item was pretty challenging, but they figured it out. All the guys were very efficient and helpful, asking several times if there was anything else they could do. Very grateful I found this company and would highly recommend. I've already told several friends!

These guys are fantastic. They were careful with our belongings, very efficient and accommodating with our requests. Their website was user friendly and straight forward to book.
