Their employees were all professional, hard-working, collaborative and communicative. They persevered to make sure our oldest's desk was reassembled correctly. Something I would not have been able to do. Integrity also moved a vintage pinball machine (very heavy) from one basement to another. While moving our belongings, they also took time to ask questions and listened from start to finish.

I hired Best Oakville movers last weekend. At first dealing with George was a pleasure. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the service. The truck containing my furniture only about 3/4 full. When the guys arrived at my home and opened up the truck door, I was surprised to see that the truck was not full. I questioned the movers, and they told me that they had to go back to pickup the "Expensive furniture" . Considering there was no appliances, a few couches, a bedroom set,, patio furniture and boxes, I thought all my stuff would easily fit into the truck.

I have used other movers in the past, they utilized the space properly. While movers where unloading, one of the guys went into my ensuite and decided to see if he could lift a cast iron tub, continued to walk into rooms that had nothing to do with the move. When he came back out, he asked me "How much did you pay for the house"? I was somewhat taken back that one he decided to look around the entire house and asked personal questions.

The other two guys were hard working.

I felt that the move should have been completed in one trip. It seems that it was a money grab for an extra 3 hours. When they came back with the rest of my furniture, the truck was 80% empty, they had my dining room set which consisted of a table , hutch and 6 chairs, a patio table, 4 chairs a snow blower.

At the end of the move the team leader charged me a extra $60 for what he said was a" heavy furniture" I asked why the charge, which he said was part of the contract, there was also a charge of $30.00 for going up and down the stairs. I paid the bill. The team leader than asked me for a tip , I told him that I did not appreciate him not bringing a full load and walking around my house. He insisted that we give a tip, at which point I asked him to leave.

I called George at the main office, and explained what had happened, he agreed that it was very inappropriate to ask questions and walk around the house which did not pertain to the move. He agreed that it was inappropriate to ask personal questions and wonder into rooms that were not part of the move. He said he would also look into why the truck wasn't full. Unfortunately he never did get back to me.

Very pleased with the overall process, accommodations and efficiency. I had called Best Okaville Movers on a Wednesday because my previous mover tried to double his initial quote 3 days before they were going to move. I called Okaville Movers and they were able to accommodate me in this short notice. The moving crew was fast, polite and most importantly, reliable. I would use them again, and let others know as well.
