I decided to rent a jetski last minute after our own waterski boat broke down right before the Labour Day Weekend. Contacted every rental company in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. Constance Bay Rentals (CBR) was first to respond and was the most accomodating. From their "pick up the night before" option (which allows you to be ready to get on the water first thing the next day), to their comprehensive in-person instruction on how to operate the Seadoo including trailering and launching guidance, they cover all the bases.

They also make it clear that you can contact them at any time during the rental period. Although we had no issue with the Seadoo (which was clean, properly equipped with safety equipment, and ran perfectly), I did need to contact them because we were having so much fun I wanted to keep it an extra day. They responded immediately (on a holiday Monday), and went out of their way to accomodate our needs.

And last but not least, Rick and Shannon are lovely. When I showed up, they had just arrived from a day on the water and were getting ready to go out for the evening, but they did not try to rush anything. It was clear that they take their business seriously, and respect their customers. These owner-operators are knowledgable, thoughtful, patient and good-humoured. I rarely write reviews, and when I do so I aim to be objective and honest (i.e., I don't hand out five star reviews unless they are warranted). Bottom line, you cannot go wrong renting from CBR!

We rented 2 jet skis for a day and it was very affordable and fun! Make sure you pay attention when they go over the tutorial and follow the safety rules when on the water. And be careful as there are some swimmers far from shore and it's hard to see them.

10/10; wonderful!! I had an amazing experience renting a Sea-Doo with my boyfriend from Constance Bay Rentals. The owners were the nicest and so helpful, and I can’t forget the joy of their dog, Nugget, greeting us. The Sea-Doo was in great condition!! The rental process was smooth and easy, and we were provided with all the necessary safety equipment and instructions. The Sea-Doo itself was a blast to ride, and we loved exploring the Ottawa river on it. There is a beach close by and we were able to stop and eat at the beach restaurant. Drop off and pick-up times were right on schedule and owners ready for us whenever. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to rent a Sea-Doo!

Amazing equipment, excellent pricing, fantastic customer service. This was my first time and I have never had so much fun exploring the Ottawa river. Pick up and drop off schedule was totally reasonable. Definitely renting again from Constance Bay Rentals and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking to spend some fun in the sun on the water.

We rented 3 seadoos and it was an extremely fun and unforgettable experience. All the seadoos were in great condition and drove smooth. Rick was extremely nice, easy going and thoroughly explained all the controls of the seadoos & dangers in the bay to avoid in order to have a safe ride. Overall, an amazing experience, great people, fair prices and we will definitely be returning!
