Nous avons eu un déménagement en août 2022 a Ottawa. Je recommande leur service pour les raisons suivantes:
-Le prix est clair et aucune surprise et connu à l'avance,
-Le contrat d'assurance est disponible et clair,
-Les trois employés ont été extrêmement poli.
-Un gros plus a été que l'un des trois employés parlait français.

La seule amélioration possible aurait été que le camion de livraison soit identifié au nom de l'entreprise.

I was extremely pleased with Pronto's packing and moving services. The team of packers ensured that everything was packed safely and securely. On moving day, the moving team arrived on time and they worked efficiently to make for a very smooth transition. I am very happy with their professionalism and their willingness to help with additional chores. Best of all, there as no hidden costs!

Terrible, terrible experience. Broken items, 8 day delay on delivery, $1,000 difference between quote and actual price (with no warning).

I got in touch with the company well before my move (I was moving in Late December). I needed my things to arrive at my new place before January 6th. The owner of the company assured me on November 21st that he would guarantee delivery before January 6th. Then, right before the move, and when it was too late to change the plan, he told me there was no way he could guarantee delivery by then. I reminded him of his promise, and said he would look into it. He then got back to me and said my things would arrive on January second. I flew to my new city on January first, thinking I would only have to spend one night sleeping on the floor of my new apartment, but my things did not arrive until January 10th. I was starting a new job and after 6 nights of sleeping on hardwood and nodding off in important meetings, I had to book a hotel room for the next three nights, which cost $450 (a huge unanticipated cost to the move). I had given him a very detailed list of my items, including dimensions of all my furniture, and I was actually accurate about the number of boxes I had. I was quoted $1,400. After my items were picked up by the company on December 29th, I was not given any updated estimate, so I assumed that it would be what the quote was. Then, on the morning of January 10th, the day of delivery, I got a bill for $2,400 and was told I had to pay by 4 pm if I wanted my things (I got that e-mail at 9:30 when I was already at work). First, of all, I was not inaccurate in the details I sent the company about how many things I had, so there's no reason it should have been so high. Also, the company had 12 days to notify me of the increased amount. They should have been able to tell me the new price right away after picking up my things, or at least by the next day. Instead this was sprung on my at the very last minute. That price increase, plus the hotel room caused me to go $1,350 over my moving budget. Also, they destroyed a 150$ bar stool that was in perfect condition when I gave it to them (see photo), put large dents and scratches on some homemade shelves my father had made for me, and lost the handle on a chest of drawers that was a family heirloom. Oh, and they forgot to bring a mattress cover even though I had requested one, and I watched my mattress go into the truck without one. It arrived with a cover on it, but the mattress was dirty, so clearly the cover didn't get put onto the mattress until much later (but I still got charged for it). When I e-mailed the owner about the the broken item his response was basically "not possible".

Horrendous Experience with Pronto Movers

I had the absolute misfortune of hiring Pronto Movers for my recent move, and I can confidently say it was the worst decision I have ever made. This company is nothing but a pack of cheats and liars who prey on unsuspecting customers.

From the start, their customer service was abysmal. They quoted me a reasonable price initially, but once my belongings were loaded onto the truck, the cost suddenly skyrocketed with hidden fees and additional charges that were never mentioned before. When I tried to question these absurd charges, I was met with rudeness and complete disregard for my concerns.

The entire moving process was a nightmare.The operations manager Mike is extremely rude and just wants to extract money from the customers.

I wish there was zero star rate to give it to you. You charged me twice hours: 4 hrs for one one person stuff + travel time while your location was less than 500m away and you moved a block away to my new plcae. My brand new construction safety shows was lost during the move. You didnot care about my emails and calls. Terrible expetience wasting money and my time.
Writing here to make others aware, not getting fool by stars that you mostlikely get from your friends and family was my only option left.
