Worst delivery experience I've ever had. The delivery driver I spoke to said she couldn't make the delivery because there was not enough room in the garage and I couldn't go clear up more space because she had already returned my packages to the warehouse. She rudely added that she had no idea when I would be able to get my packages. Loomis does not have a direct number for their Courtenay location so you have to contact their customer service who then tries to get in contact with the local office. After a few days I received a call from I suppose the manager who basically scolded me for wasting the time of the delivery driver and said he didn't want my packages taking up space in his warehouse so he was going to hand it over to a third party to take care of the delivery.
Today, A.C.E. Courier delivered the packages with no hassle and when I saw the packages, there was definitely enough room for them in the garage in the first place. If I could give Loomis zero stars, I would.

Too lazy to take my package to front door out of sight where it would be safe from thieves. Instead they left it on the driveway exposed to the elements and in plain sight.

Not the service I would expect from a courier company. Even amazon knows to bring to front door and DO NOT LEAVE IN PLAIN SIGHT for security reasons.

I would not hire this company based on my experience.

Loomis Courtenay does not deliver to residential addresses;
Office Hours are only 1pm-4pm Weekdays;
Other reviewers above have similar experiences.

Received a phone call letting me know a package was ready for pickup. I immediately said I did not have a missed delivery notice. The person on the phone mumbled an excuse about construction on my street. I let him know I had just been down the road and there was no construction today or this week.

He said come pick it up. I said I'm home all day, how about deliver it...since you're a delivery company.

Long story short they didn't.

When you ask at the office, the next line of excuses come in, such as oh I wasn't here last week, my back hurts etc etc.
Would not use them again.

This is now the 3 time Loomis has lied about attempting delivery.
The front buzzer/intercom is connected to my cell phone. I can be over on the mainland and if someone buzzed me I get the call.
We installed cameras in this building several years ago, and I’ve checked to feeds each time Loomis has stated they attempted delivery.
They lied.

Tried 3 days in a row to drop pre paid package off. No one answers the phone to confirm when they’re open. The door will say “open 1-4” on a piece of paper but no one is there. Yesterday at 3:30 the door was unlocked but after yelling “hello!” repeatedly for 5 minutes we gave up. I’m going to be outside my return window at this rate.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. My package has been ready for pick up for a week but their hours are during my working hours so I would have to take time off to get there. I have to bring ID in order to pick it up so I can’t have someone else do it. I have called multiple times with no answer and I left multiple voicemails asking if my boyfriend can pick it up since his ID has the same address. No response. Their voicemail says their hours are 12-5 so I left work early today to get there before 5 but they were closed with a sign on the door that said 1-4. I called and left another voicemail expressing my disappointment. I literally live across the street, I don’t understand why it can’t just be delivered when the last time I ordered from the same company, it was delivered to my mailbox. If my package gets returned because of this, I will be extremely upset and will be contacting head office.

I left the Canpar form on my door, with my signature, as per the instructions on the Canpar website. They didn’t even attempt to deliver the item, they just left me a message saying that the item couldn’t be delivered. When I called, I was told it was because the item was “heavy”. I paid $250 for shipping and drive a small car, so it’s not even possible for me to pick it up myself. When I asked when it would be delivered, I couldn’t get a straight answer, and I still don’t have my item!
