Nice place to hangout. Place was kind of basic but the food were surprisingly good. Liked their Poutine with that rich gravy. The crispy chicken was nice as well with the tasty dipping sauce. I love their freshly cut sweet potato. If only I could get the secret recipe?
And finally washing them with a beer. My night is complete. 3 spoons out of 5. ?

I went to this establishment today and was deeply dissatisfied. My lunch guest and myself placed an order for 4 appetizers that I am very familiar with. I have had them several times with no complaint. Unfortunately, this has not been the case with the last couple times that I have ordered from here. If I could rate this business with less than 1 star, I would. I expressed that I didn't think that my cheddar cheese balls were fully cooked and the waitress actually said that she thought they didn't look like they were fully cooked either. On top of that, I 100% asked for spicy mayo specifically for my sweet potato puffs (which they normally come with). I was given a terrible sweet sauce that was not a suitable replacement. When I asked about the spicy mayo, the owner told me that I was in the wrong. He said that he makes the sauce himself and it has always been that way. I brought up the fact that the waitress said to us at our table that our food looked undercooked, and she completely denied this and said I was "putting words in her mouth". Just because she was trying to seem right in front of her boss. It was the worst customer service I have ever received in the small town of Espanola and I will be happy to share this review with anyone willing to read it.

We ordered takeout and were very disappointed. The lettuce in our wraps was warm and soggy, there was a hair in our fries and our deep fried pickles hardly had any batter on them. We couldn't even eat our food.

1 star is too good for this place. Not many choices to dine out in Espanola and this one is definitely off my list, as well as the burger place by the T.D. bank which they also own. Food is mediocre at best. My son and I ate in and ordered take out for my husband. I sat for at least 20 minutes after we ate and paid for the meals before I finally got up and asked if my take out was ready. Was told it was waiting for me. When I said they should have told me it was ready the waitress said it was not her job. After a lengthy discussion about how every other place in town informs the customer that take out is ready she still insisted that it was not up to her to do that, it was not her job. I told her it was not my job to tip her either. The owner, who I know from school, sat there and listened to the whole thing without a word. NEVER again will I eat there and I will advise you not to as well. Atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired, looks and feels like a cheap bar/diner.

Great place. Warm, friendly, staff. Delicious home style food. Large portions. You really get your monies worth. When in Espanola, be sure to stop in. By the way... This establishment is also a licensed bar. Cheers everyone!.

Pleasantly surprised by the food here, one of the top burgers I have had anywhere and very modestly priced menu. Service could be a bit better or I'd say 5 stars but it was a slow time , could be a one off situation and may have been understaffed when we went in. I'd still recommend it highly.

I love the place. It's a must see and dine at if you live here or just passing through. The ppl and staff are friendly and the food, drink and service are excellent. The prices are affordable for everyone.
