Used for a long distance move. Upon delivery almost every tote was damaged, cracks in the plastic, lids smashed, many beyond being usable. Boxes were smashed, crushed and some had large holes ripped into them. Two large pieces of furniture were damaged: large scratches and a big dent/puncture in my book shelf and arrived very dirty; puncture hole in my large reading chair, also very dirty (was shrink wrapped on pick up but delivered uncovered). This is my this cross country move in 5 years and I have never had any issues like this. Maybe it’s an issue with Allied Van Lines who they use for long distance moves, but I did not receive a single email or phone call from Maritime Moving after I emailed them about the state of my delivered items until I followed up a week later. I expected more. Do not recommend.

I was nervous, but had no need to worry. Maritime Movers moved both our business and our home from Halifax NS to Wolfville NS. Amy gave us great, easy-to-follow advice for preparing and packing to ensure that we maximized space in the truck and protected our possessions from damage. We had two separate teams of four movers each that were all VERY professional. They put me right at ease and were careful with all our belongings. Everything arrived in perfect condition, including our large commercial printers. I never want to move again LOL, but if I do, I'll definitely be using Maritime Movers.

Our experience with Maritime Moving and Storage has been absolutely top notch! Our Relocation Consultant, Amy, was always available to answer questions, the pricing was fair and beat the other companies. Moving from Nova Scotia to Labrador I was worried about the route, I need not be, Amy and the Allied driver (and team)
put my mind at ease. Everything arrived in perfect condition, we are so happy with our experience and very highly recommend them! A++

Service was excellent from the moving consultant Amy to the loaders and drivers. Everything was well taken care of. We even had them arrange for shipping our vehicles across country and the service was again excellent. Would recommend them to anyone looking to move. We checked with the other long distance movers and the were definitely cheaper. Our weight was 8400 lbs. when they did the quote they were at 8540. So Amy is an excellent estimator. All the other companies when you switch it to price for pound. Definitely check around before you commit. Allied was excellent to us.

This is the best moving company we have ever had, and we have worked with 4 moving companies in the last 2 years for various reasons. We were extremely pleased with Maritime Moving and Storage’s service from the moment Amy answered my first email on time and with thorough answers, to them taking a survey of our goods in Lower Sackville prior to moving …. to the last moment they delivered our goods without any damages to our home in Montreal . They took a detailed inventory and took care with lifting every box and wrapping every piece of furniture. It was clear that their team is professional and experienced . They showed up even when there was heavy snow and communicated to me when they were late . They are reliable and honest and truly the best moving company ever . I was put at ease by their professionalism and friendliness and the fact that they worked steady, and answered all my questions through the entire move . Also, it was clear that they loved their work and the employees felt valued . Big THANK YOU to Amy, Adrian and Tyler especially ! Highly recommend!

I wish I could rate one star. My move was 6 days - I signed a contract for a moving spread and it was changed without my knowledge for 5 days later without telling me. Thus leaving me stranded without my items in another province. Then it was still late based on their own new moving time spread. Customer service stopped answering my emails and calls as soon as I paid. Plus on delivery, I was faced with an anti-vaxxer delivery person who even took his mask off. Moving is stressful and very expensive - this company made my experience terrible.

From.someone who will say is an experienced customer..over 20 moves or so, I can tell you these guys were super..on time, organized, tons of personality and just wanting to accommodate the customer...it was professional right from the start..Ryan, Marc and sorry cannot remember the other gentleman..
They were so awesome that we will be requesting these 3 when we move out of storage and into our new apartment...thanks guys and Amy (the super sales rep who gave us our quote) on making our downsizing a great experience.
