BEWARE.
Absolutely livid, not only was the woman on the phone a stuck up c***, I had called a couple of hours earlier to inquire about payment options and told the gentleman who answered I would be there in person in a few hours to rent, not a word to say they had no vehicles he just said okay. Then when I call to say I’ll be a few minutes late this awful woman tells me she doesn’t have a reservation, refused to take my confirmation number and when I ask what I’m going to do she tells me she doesn’t know she doesn’t even have a car; meanwhile their lot is FULL of the vehicles listed online. So now these dimwits have my credit card information. I expect Budget corporate to get ahold of me ASAP to rectify this obvious and INEXCUSABLE security risk. What a joke.

Avoid! Do not book on the website bc you will waste your gas. Do not call because they never call you back. Will be calling Budget Headoffice.

My Wife, Daughter, Granddaughter and I rented a car at the Halifax Airport. The car looked like it just came from the scrapyard and the car seat we rented looked like it just came out of a mud hole. After we returned from our vacation, we received a call stating that we had put a dent in the vehicle and they were looking for us to pay for the repair. I asked for the video of the car leaving the garage as proof and was told I could not have it but that I was responsible for the damage. WHAT? This is nothing but a scam by Budget. Will NEVER rent from Budget again and would never recommend this company to anyone.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Wanted to add 2 drivers to the policy. Came all the way from Owen Sound - only to find that the boss had gone fishing, would not answer his phone, and the assistant clerk did not have access to the computer system. If it wasn't such a waste of time and gas it would actually be funny...who wouldn't wanna be fishing during perfect opening hours?
Head office no help either. Asked to be called back for when the boss would actually be back to his rental car desk...3 days later no call. Had to drive all the way to the Guelph office to register the additional drivers. All 5 star ratings seem fake. Evan should have his Budget license revoked. Sure not fishing for compliments.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Do Not Recommend.
I Reserved a vehcile online months in advance. Recieved several confirmation emails and did a online check in a few days before. My family of 5 show up in Hanover and are told there is no vehcile for us, that they hadnt had any rental vehciles in months. This left us scrambling with two small children to be able to have a vehicle for our 11 day vacation.
Now I come on here and see recent reviews of rentals. So not only was there no vehcile but they also lied to us.
I had to call in to Budget to ensure I would not be charged. I asked for an explanation and was just told sorry, that they should have turned off reservations for this location but haven't so it has messed up alot of reservations. HOW IS THIS OKAY?!?!?

Will never rent with Budget.

Had an online booking for noon on Saturday. Arrived in Hannover, place was closed and I was stranded all weekend in a snowstorm.

Did not answer phones, online said they were open. Allowed me to make reservations.

They will let you know that there are no cars the minute you walk in and say it's the budget's fault. Got no notifications that there would be any issue from them not budget. Would never use this business nor the Napa auto it is attached too. Just don't accept reservations if this is a common occurrence!!!!

The sad excuse of a woman that works there is just the frosting on the cake. They don’t have any rental cars and are ruse to the customer when we are disappointed after we turn up and there’s no car!! That we’ve reserved online. A smarmy. Should have called and no further assistance. I guess that’s why she’s a receptionist still
