I recently hired Amovers to move my piano, and they did an outstanding job. The team was professional, careful, and clearly experienced with handling delicate items. They took great care to protect both the piano and my home during the move. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. Seemed to good to be true. First the move started out strong. I had bought a roll of plastic wrap to wrap some items and labeled all boxes as some were going in the house vs garage. I was told that if I paid cash, I would not be taxed and was quoted around $700. The move took longer than expected which is fine. Total bill and tip came to $1200. After looking at the receipt, I was charged over $150 in taxes.
When I reached out they explained tax had to be charged….(issue 1)

As the truck was leaving I noticed my plastic roll was in the truck (it had noticeable orange handels) when I reached out and requested it back I got no response (issue 2 as it cost me $50 and I never used it, I could have returned it)

Finally, after looking in my garage, some of my plastic totes were broken, one container was missing a latch and had fallen open and fallen out and items were thrown into my garage with little care. 2 expensive reptile glass tanks were broken and a few picture frames were broken. ( issue 3 as I reached out again with no response)

Very unhappy as it cost me more in the long run and the job was not done well.

I had the greatest experience ever. Marian and Akim were amazing. They were super on time didnt waste any time and got right into it. My buidling is not the easiest but they were super fast and helpful. My overall experience with them was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.
Also not to forget they have the best price point in GTA.

This is my 2nd time using Available Movers & each time their service from the initial booking & the day of moving has been exemplary and far exceeding my expectations.

They are consistently on time, friendly & professional, and they move efficiently, quickly and are extremely organized.

I must admit I had a lot more items to move this time yet they were able to still move me quickly & efficiently. I will definitely continue to choose Available Movers as my primary movers and have recommended family & friends.

Initially hired a different moving company which turned out to be a bunch of crooks who tried to triple the price upon arrival so last minute hired available movers Danny and Dino who showed up an hour after I called. The movers I had were fantastic. Extremely professional and made short work of what was the most stressful move of my life. If I could give 10 stars I would and will definitely be calling them if I need to move again.. will recommend to anyone I know who needs to move.

I would just like to start off by mentioning that this is usually a good company. It's affordable, and they do have efficient movers. Nana is so kind and accommodating.... very flexible and friendly. I have used this company before but my previous experience was nothing like this last one.

I'm so disappointed with how my belongings were treated, and I found that the movers did a sloppy job this time. I have included pictures.

The price I paid included the cost of supplies, but the supplies were not used. No boxes, no protective blankets. I had furniture that was not wrapped with the protective wrap. These items include pictures, glass tables that could have been damaged, and an expensive couch.

My couch was dragged (not lifted or placed on a dolly) on the the dirty elevator floor in the storage building. I should ask the storage building manager for the footage (if that's a possibility). I had to ask the mover to please be careful with the couch and to please cover it with plastic wrap. Needless to say, there was a minor damage done to the corner of my couch, but the size of the damage shouldn't matter. It's the principle. If you pay for a service, it should be done right!

There were pictures that were not protected in any way, and one of them fell and completely broke.

I had tons of other items that were loaded on the truck carelessly and without protection.

When asked why they didn't wrap my items, they said that they were trying to save me money and get it done in a decent time (2 hour minimum)... but I was not worried about the time and was in no way rushing them (especially when it comes to my belongings being mistreated and damaged in the process). When I pointed out that he should have used the dolly to move my couch from elevator to storage unit, he said that a small nick is not a big deal and that I could just get my couch steam cleaned.

I tried to call the company to let them know what was going on with the movers, but I felt unheard. They did, however, send me an email and said they would message me with any updates. (whatever that means).

I will take into consideration that this was the movers second move of the day (I can understand them being tierd and wanting to get the job done)...but the way my stuff was treated is unacceptable and very unprofessional.
