I've visited the shop a couple of times just to pick up deliveries, and I ended up getting really interested in what they offer—especially the DYO meat. I decided to try some, and it turned out to be really good! The quality of the products is genuinely impressive, and the initiative you've started is truly commendable.

However, the reason I'm leaving this review is to highlight one area for improvement: delivery times. Deliveries often take longer than expected, which can be quite frustrating for delivery guys. If you could work on improving that process, it would make a big difference. Keep up the great work otherwise!

I made the mistake of ordering soup at this establishment. I ordered their broccoli / cheddar soup, it ended up being some spicy curry indian blend of soup, it was terrible. What a waste of $30. I would not serve food like this to inmates at a jail. What a waste of $30, door dash would not refund. I would never in my life suggest purchasing anything from this place.

I heard this place had great lobster rolls, so I had to try them myself. The rumours were true! The sandwiches were made fresh while we waited. Staff were friendly and helpful. There were lots of other things on the menu that I'd like to try another time!

Bought the 1L broccoli cheese soup warm from in store and I’ve been mixing this for the past 10 minutes and it still is not combining. Very watery in texture and oily and smells terrible. Pretty sure I got a spoiled container

Worst place. I have been there to pick uber orders few times. First thing they never show up at front counter no matter you knock or call. They will see you and ignore. After waiting for 10 minutes someone will come and say we need 15 to 20 more minutes to prepare the order. They don’t value others time. Please don’t order your food from here.

The produce is great, and it’s awesome that they support local farms and use paper bags. However, I’m giving 3 stars because several of my items were weirdly repackaged and left unlabelled, as though they split the food out of a larger bulk package. It even looks like they just used regular heat-sealed vacuum bags, but didn’t do a very good job because there’s lots of air and moisture in the bags. What was delivered did not match the pictures on the site. Call me picky, but when I buy food, I like to see all the ingredients and nutritional info on the original sealed package. There aren’t even ingredients or calories listed on the website! I also saw that they had random sauces and baked goods for sale on their site with basically no info other than some warnings for allergens, so of course I decided to pass. I thought I would be safe buying what looked like prepackaged food, but I guess not! In my opinion: stick to the produce if you really need this service.

I absolutely love this service. When you order from Grocery Garden you are supporting a local small business that lives and breathes local, and what isn’t great about that? Grocery Garden is continually introducing new local produce, mushrooms, meat, cheese, flour, pantry items, sauces etc. You can even get locally made cold pressed juices that are to die for. My personal favourites are the sunshine slimmer, super roots, and pearidice. And how cute are the names!! Every time I order it’s fresh, well packaged, and delivered on time and as expected. The prices are reasonable and in line with what you pay at the grocery store, with the added benefit of being incredibly convenient and delivered right to your door. The website is incredibly simple to use, I especially love the support local buttons that produce lists of local products.
This is a must try. Support local and automate your groceries while your at it! You won’t regret it.

Don't waste your time at this store. Things are not what they claim they are. Very misleading descriptions on their website. Should be specified whether it's frozen or fresh. Expiry dates should also be stated. I politely declined my order when went to pick it up at the store and the owner left me a hostile voicemail for declining my order.
Response to the owner: I was not hostile to anyone in your store. A bit upset but not hostile. The employee I talked to was very nice, not very knowledgeable because she didn't know the expiry date of the chicken breast but was super nice. The label on the chicken breast only had the name of the product which isn't sufficient. I actually see that more people have given you 1 star reviews for very similar issue. Perhaps you should learn how to improve your business from feedback you receive instead of getting defensive.
