Ever wished you had a personal chef on call? Well, even on a budget, Chef on Call has you covered! This go-to late-night spot satisfies cravings with its generous portions, budget-friendly prices, and 2 AM closing time. With daily $6 walk-in specials, flat $10 deals, HALAL meat, and student card acceptance, it’s a top pick for UWaterloo and WLU students.

The Spicy Crispy Crunch Burger, their best seller, was massive and incredibly filling. The juicy, well-cooked beef, crispy bacon, and just-right kick of spice made every bite delicious. It’s the kind of burger that truly hits the spot after a long day (or night). The Gluten-Free Chicken Caesar Wrap was decent, though the wrap itself was a bit dry and could have used more sauce. The crunchy lettuce and Caesar dressing helped balance it out. On the side, the Gluten-Free Sweet Potato Fries were a standout—crispy, soft inside, and paired with flavorful, slightly spicy dipping sauces. The Curly Fries were equally satisfying, crispy and well-seasoned, a perfect side for any meal.

To top it off, we had Oreo and Strawberry Milkshakes, both 10/10 must-tries. The Oreo Milkshake, a customer favorite, was thick, creamy, and the ultimate comfort pairing with a burger. Meanwhile, the Strawberry Milkshake was light yet indulgent, proving Chef on Call knows how to perfectly blend fresh-to-order shakes with a variety of flavors.

the food was absolutely delicious best cheeseburger I’ve ever had in my life ! Not only was the food amazing, but the lady who worked there was also incredibly kind and helpful. She guided us to choose a great option, and it turned out perfect.

Good food, amazing and quick service. They have walk-in deals that are a fair bit better than if you order online. Smash burger was a bit oily but good overall. Patty is definitely small, even given the price. Very convenient spot at a good price though.

The Mini Crisp was amazing! The crispy chicken was perfectly cooked, and the combination of iceberg lettuce and pickles added a refreshing crunch. The chef sauce brought everything together with its delicious flavor. It was a satisfying and tasty option that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great meal!

Staff were friendly,, It took too long to prepare my order which I am okay with given how busy they’re

I had the spicy burger maybe its my luck or idk what happend opposite to the reviews I read, it taste like garbage. the chicken had a bad taste and smell like dirt, not spicy at all and the bread was too dry with burn taste in it, I wasn’t able to eat it although I was super hungry, it tasted so bad and I felt I will be sick if I forced myself to eat it, fries was ok nothing special.

The small meal doesn’t worth 22$ and for that taste I wouldn’t eat it for free

Amazing food. Great portions and the onion rings were superb!!
