Great services, BUT price hikes in recent days are really unaffordable in this slow business time. I see a 2-3 times price increase in the past 2 years. I wish WM cared for business success where both sides grown/sustained parallelly.

I have issues with the customer service. They have not replaced my bin that the homeless people put on fire. We were told that the bin will be replaced when we submit police report which we did submit but the bin is still here. Spoke with Customer service on this issue but nothing is being done, they need to teach their customer service on dealing with or following up on issues at hand. Still waiting for my new bin to arrive...

WM has provided a great service to our business. Garbage collection is always on time at our business where we have a specific window for pickup. Bins are usually in good condition and they have been quick in the past to change out for a larger bin when requested. Value seems good to me for the service provided for weekly collection.

They make it super hard to cancel your contract If you sign a contact WM for 2-3 years Don't be surprised if they up the price 35% 👎 Customer service is terrible

I agree with the last review completely, same situation, atrocious service, and automated renewals should be illegal, they are complete sinners! Do not sign with them and go with quality providers such as Panda Environmental for less and deal with transparent information.

This company is not honest with their customer.
They change the monthly charges throughout the contract period.
Be vigilant of your monthly if you sign up with them, but DO EXPECT them to charge higher prices than you sign up for.
The service is pretty clean and they are fairly punctual with the garbage pick up.

A peculiar trick they use with their sales is to increase prices by a large amount months before you are due to renew your contract, and when you call in to discuss the increase they agree to reduce the price; however, they send an agreement to be signed which will lock you in for another 3 years.
A clever trick if you are not paying attention.
WM is loosing market share, and a large reason is their unethical pricing practices.
BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU SIGN, AND MAKE DURE TO READ THE FINE PRINT!!!!

Similar to Bell or Rogers WM uses self-renewing contracts and makes it as difficult as legally possible to cancel a contract with them. You must send a certified letter to their head office 90 days before the end of a contract or it self renews for 5 years and you can never get out of it. These practices should be illegal but are certainly unethical NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

$121/month for service in 2010, $635/month in 2020. That’s a 525% increase! Called to cancel and I was reminded the agreement I signed in 2010 automatically renews for 36 month terms without notice. So I’m still locked into a contract until 2021. Cancellation can only be done by REGISTERED MAIL. Cancellation fee equals 6 months of payments. While their contract is legal, it’s absolutely unconscionable. Unfortunate, considering our driver is fantastic and service has been reliable. Absolutely predatory. Really disappointed.
