Store hours are horrible - 11:00 - 5:30 M-F and not open weekends? I work 8-5 M-F so, getting there before they close is pretty much impossible. It is also load your own and the lack of a bottle refund is ridiculous. Everywhere else you pay a $10 deposit and get it back when you return the bottle. To not offer anything for returned bottles is bad business. The only reason I go there is because I have their bottles and no one else will accept them but, it just isn't worth it anymore. Unfortunately it is time to accept that the bottles have no value and to start going elsewhere.

Very disappointed! Prices have increased and service has decreased. As other reviewers have said, your 'deposit' is basically gone, which I discovered today while returning 18L bottles. Serves me right for not getting something in writing. Be warned that your supposed deposit is a fee and NOT a deposit. I will open a case with the Better Business Bureau as I believe this to be unethical.

I will never do business with them again and I will ensure to let as many of my contacts know as well.

Not exactly sure why this place would blatantly advertise "fill your own" right on their storefront and then not refill bottles. Time is money and I just wasted enough it

We have been customers for years.
Appreciated having help (offered before COVID) getting the bottles into our vehicle.
Due to health concerns, neither myself or hubby are able to lift the 18L bottles, so unless we have assistance, getting 18L bottles is out of the question.
As a result, we have switched to 11L bottles ...that size fits into the weight restrictions set out by my Dr. ....however, the water is more expensive (same price for less water!)
Recently, we learned that the deposit we put on the bottles we have is pretty much "lost" if we stop using our water cooler or stop getting our water from here.
Doesn't seem right. Others we have talked to about this have questioned whether or not it is even legal.
I know there are other places in town who will return the $10 deposit - even if you don't buy more water.
Might have to start going there.
At least we know that the bottle deposit won't be "lost".

Suddenly very expensive.

GWS retroactively changed what was a bottle “deposit” to a bottle “purchase,” and now we can’t get the deposit back.

This also changed the incentivization structure with respect to keeping the bottles out of the landfill. My recycling wouldn’t take them, GWS is apparently keeping what was my deposit, leaving me with the cheapest option of smashing the ten bottles so they fit into a garbage bag and dropping them at the curb for the trip to their final resting place at the landfill.

Wasn’t this what the bottle deposit system was trying to prevent?

Buy your water elsewhere, preferably somewhere that still honours their deposit system.

These people are horrible. They advertise a deposit of $10. for bottles but you can’t take them back and get your money back. How is it a deposit when they cannot be taken back. This is a scam. It’s not the $10., it’s the principle of it. They should be up front and say when you Put a deposit on the bottle it’s yours, no refund. The person who is in charge is an absolute ignorant individual. When we asked about contacting his boss he says he’s out of town. He’s always out of town. Wonder why. Very poor business ethics.
