We're currently exploring the Maritimes on holiday. We booked this motel based on reviews saying it was 'pleasant.' It was definitely not pleasant. There were stains on the walls, curtains and bedding that looked like old blood. The shower curtain had black mould spots and the base of the toilet was filthy. If we had arrived less tired, we would not have stayed. As it was, morning could not come fast enough and our scheduled two nights turned into a reluctant one night. The only redeeming factor was the pleasant front desk clerk.

The beds were clean and people were nice, but the bathroom was dirty. The toilet was black under the rim and brown on the bottom. Disgusting. The floor in the bathroom was dirty and had dog hair in the corners.

A motel style property close to Sherbourne main road. Still, a rather quiet location. Property, though, hasn't aged well tbh. Rooms and interior due to be refurbished/replaced rather soon. Went there w/o prior reservation and got a deal for a single/2-bed motel room at 125 CAD (~80 EUR), which is a kinda pricy for what you're getting. 🤔

We found this accommodation was ideal. Located in a quiet neighborhood. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. They were able to answer any questions we had.

If I had to compare this motel to something I would have to say Bates Motel from Psycho. The room was incredibly dirty, full of dead bugs and cobwebs. The fixtures in the bathroom were rust stained and dirty. I don’t think they ever ran a mop over the floors. The windows were nailed shut from the outside. The door to the room did not lock properly. It was a good thing we travel with our own bedding. After staying here we threw our own sheets away after putting them on top of the bed to sleep on. They advertised breakfast but did not offer any. They were turning away potential guests and they had lots of empty rooms (atleast 8). No one was around at the time of check out, so you just had to leave your key in the room. It is a real shame, based on photos (from likely 10 years ago) this place was a mom and pop motel and was well looked after and enjoyable. But it had since been sold and the quality and pride of ownership has drastically declined. I hate to give them a 1star rating, but it didn’t give an option for 0 stars. We certainly did not feel safe staying here.

We removed all bedding and slept in our travel blankets we bought earlier.

Wouldn't recommend at all. They should be 1 star or less and not even show up in accomodation searches.
