I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Race Auto Group in Sackville regarding a 2014 Honda Odyssey LX I attempted to purchase.

During the test drive, I immediately pointed out several serious issues:
‱Rear A/C wasn’t working (no cold air in second and third rows),
‱Multiple OBD fault codes were detected with my own scanner,
‱Dashboard warning lights, including the check engine light, didn’t illuminate during ignition. I was told the bulb “might be blown.” Later, an independent mechanic confirmed the bulb had been deliberately removed — a serious red flag,
‱Temperature and RPM gauges weren’t working,
‱Brakes were shaking and clearly needed repair.

All of this was documented in a Due Bill, which I signed. I also retained proof of payment and all related communication.

I was told the van would be ready in about a week. After 18 days without a single update, I was finally told to pick it up. On July 16, 2025, I arrived — only to find that most promised repairs had not been completed:
‱The rear A/C still didn’t work,
‱The MAP sensor fault code was still present, despite being on the Due Bill,
‱The dashboard lights were still tampered, and I was refused a diagnostic scan,
‱I was pressured to take the vehicle anyway, with vague excuses and told to “check with the repair shop.”

After that visit, communication stopped entirely. I called, messaged, and followed up multiple times with the sales team and shop — no one ever responded.

Things only got worse:
‱The tires installed were the wrong size (from a Honda Pilot – 245/65/R18 instead of the correct 235/65/R17). The oversized tires caused damage to the rear shock boot area,
‱I reported a clunking noise from the suspension, likely from worn ball joints. I flagged this as a safety issue, but David refused to inspect it, saying the hoist was “busy” — even though it was visibly free. When I insisted, he only tightened the lug nuts. The noise persists,
‱I was promised two keys, but only received one. Multiple follow-ups about the second key went unanswered.

The vehicle was handed over with a valid MVI safety sticker, yet it had:
‱Tampered dashboard warning lights,
‱Faulty temperature and RPM gauges,
‱Ongoing mechanical and safety issues,
‱Incorrect tires that caused physical damage.

Despite a written Due Bill, most issues were ignored. And once I raised concerns, I was completely ghosted.

This experience has been extremely frustrating, disappointing, and stressful. Race Auto Group showed no accountability, misrepresented the vehicle, and ignored written commitments. Their service, especially from David—was dismissive and unprofessional from the start.

If you’re considering buying a vehicle here, I strongly recommend:
‱Getting an independent inspection before purchase,
‱Confirming all dashboard lights illuminate at ignition,
‱Verifying correct tire size and condition,
‱And never taking delivery until every item on the Due Bill is 100% complete—in writing.

I hope this review helps others avoid a similar experience. I would never recommend Race Auto Group based on how I was treated and the unacceptable condition of the vehicle they tried to sell me.

Derek was awesome dealing with my situation. He showed me two cars that was not for me and I gave up on looking further.

I initially made contact via their website on a weekend and by early the following Monday a representative reached out. 80% of the process was done over the phone, we then went in and i decided to purchase a car that was not on site.
