Family has several drivers working with AC Transport for years and theyve been great. Easy to deal with, loads are lined up without any hassle, and the pay is solid. Couldn’t ask for better!

I tried to work here, but they seemed picky about who they hired.

Every time I called, they said it's being processed. Then they started saying work is so but I'll call you. Then called me for a load and I ask where, "oh it's not confirmed yet" and canceled the day of with out letting me know.

Ill pass. Thanks. No thanks.

Just had an incident with one of your drivers , parked at the pump for over 20 minutes in Indiana (Pilot) exit 34 A doing nothing didn’t want to move out of the pump I went and talked to him he told I’m moving go fill up somewhere else he was nasty with bad attitude to represent a company like yours his truck number 7092, trailer number 6266, please educate your drivers that the pump doesn’t belong to them or for them to take their 30 minutes break at the pump.

Dear Mr. Pannu,

I wanted to take a moment to address some of the concerns you’ve raised about overseas brokers and the logistics industry. It’s easy to point fingers at brokers, but the reality is that responsibility in transportation is shared across multiple parties, including carriers, brokers, and shippers. However, when loads aren’t delivered on time, the responsibility ultimately falls on the carrier—not the broker.

You’ve chosen to expand your logistics operations into India and Pakistan, primarily due to lower labor costs, which makes business sense. But if the concern is with overseas brokers, it’s important to also acknowledge that the carriers operating in these regions play a significant role in ensuring successful deliveries. A broker’s job is to facilitate shipments, but it is the carrier’s responsibility to execute them efficiently and on time.

Regarding hazardous materials (hazmat) shipments, the required documentation and processes are well understood in the industry. When issues arise on the road, it’s the carrier that bears the consequences—not the broker. Compliance, safety, and proper handling of such shipments are crucial, and carriers must ensure that their drivers and operations adhere to the necessary regulations. If something goes wrong, it is not fair to shift the blame entirely onto brokers when the carrier is responsible for transportation and execution.

Additionally, while there are known challenges with Indian brokers, we must also recognize that a significant portion of the problems come from truckers themselves. Issues like delayed deliveries, failure to follow through on commitments, and non-compliance with regulations contribute to the market’s instability. It’s important to acknowledge that inefficiencies exist on both sides, and blaming brokers alone does not address the root of the problem.

A growing concern in the industry is the increasing number of carriers engaging in unethical practices, such as stealing loads and reselling goods. This kind of fraudulent activity is damaging to everyone involved—brokers, shippers, and other carriers who are operating with integrity. If we want to improve the industry and create a more stable and profitable logistics environment, we must address these issues head-on rather than deflecting responsibility.

At the end of the day, timely and reliable deliveries are the key to a healthy logistics market. Brokers do not benefit from late or failed shipments—if anything, their reputation is on the line just as much as the carrier’s. Instead of placing blame, the best course of action is to ensure that all parties involved are doing their part to maintain high service standards. If there are issues with specific brokers, the best approach is direct communication to resolve them rather than generalizing and creating unnecessary conflicts.

Dear Mr. Pannu,

This situation is unacceptable. Blaming brokers won’t fix the real issue—carriers must take responsibility for on-time deliveries. When loads aren’t delivered as promised, that’s on the carrier, not the broker. The same applies to hazmat shipments—everyone knows the process, but if something goes wrong, it’s the carrier who’s accountable.
