If you are looking for professionals that actually care then Burloak movers it is!

Please take a look at the picture. Our breakfast table is porcelain marble hence very heavy. Their team managed to wrap the breakfast table with plastic, cardboard, blankets etc to avoid any possible damages while in storage or in transit.

They were a group of 3 young men. All working in different rooms except while needing help. You don’t have to micro manage anything. On the contrary, we had to remind them take a coffee break!

I could not give enough praise about BurlOak Movers. Our team of 3, Reggie, Justin and one other gentleman, were amazing from start to finish. They were on time and took great care with our belongings, and carefully moved our large items with extra care and caution so not to damage anything. They ensured everything was put in its place and protected all of the furniture and the floors too. They even made sure our cat was always in an area that he would not run off during the time the doors were open. I strongly recommend them 100% for your move! They ensure the day runs smoothly and truly stress-free! Very fair pricing as well. Thank you again so much for your awesome service.

Great experience! Needed to move furniture from our storage room to our garage. Two strong friendly guys met us the storage place on time, carefully and professionally moved everything in their large truck, and unloaded everything into our garage without incident. I was very pleasantly surprised when they drew up the bill. It was exactly the hourly rate we discussed, for the correct hours, and without any attempt to upcharge or add extras. We would definitely use this company again. Good service, fair pricing.

These guys did an incredible job! Their attention to detail and just the overall care they brought to the move really surprised me. They had a couple of very difficult pieces yet they pulled it all of without a scratch to our old house or our new one. It was a long day but these guys work really hard! I would highly recommend them especially since their pricing was very competitive. This was one of those expenditures where you felt that you got great value for your money!

**Promised piano move they couldn’t deliver - poor communication from management**

I hired Burlaok Movers for a two-part move that included a piano. From the start, I provided all details: weight, dimensions, photos, and that it needed to go down stairs to a lower level. The house has two separate staircases - one straight down and another with a landing. Both are standard residential stairs, actually wider than average.

The first move to storage went smoothly. For the second move to our house, they said they’d need a fourth person for the piano, which I agreed to. However, when moving day came, the crew said the piano was too heavy and they were concerned about damaging it.

When I spoke with the owner, I was frustrated that this potential issue was never mentioned despite providing all details upfront and discussing the stairs multiple times. The owner claimed “the guys think the stairs are too steep” - but his own crew had told me it was about weight, not steepness. Then he blatantly asked if I had given them pictures of the stairs - which was never requested during our initial discussions. This was a move to a house we had just purchased, so we didn’t have stair photos readily available, and more importantly, they never asked for them. This question only came up when I was upset, clearly as his way of deflecting responsibility.

Had they been upfront and honest about potential limitations from the beginning, I could have arranged a different solution for the piano. Instead, because they promised they could handle it, I didn’t make alternative arrangements, which led to significant frustration and scrambling on moving day.

I contacted another piano moving company the same day, and they confirmed they could handle the job without issue. When I requested a credit since I’d now need to hire someone else, Burlaok only offered one hour’s credit, saying “you don’t need more than an hour to move a piano down.” This was ironic given they charge for their travel time.

Their website proudly states they can move pianos of all sizes, yet they failed to deliver on a standard residential piano move after receiving complete details and photos. The lack of upfront communication about potential limitations was unprofessional.

The actual movers were excellent - professional, careful, and nothing was damaged. Unfortunately, the management’s standards don’t match their crew’s quality. I cannot recommend due to poor communication and overpromising capabilities.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Quick, easy and professional experience with this company! Martin was very responsive for quotes, details, follow ups, good pricing too (cheaper than others). The movers were there on time, worked very quickly, wrapped things that needed to be wrapped, were very polite too. One of the guys was actually running with boxes up and down the alley where we couldn’t get trolley in. Those guys are amazing! Highly recommended!

Emil and Burloak Movers are professional and accommodating. I have used them twice in 4 years, different crews each time. Both times they were hard working, considerate and understanding. Our most recent experience was not ideal as we had a huge time delay between moving out and getting the keys very late but Brandon and his team stuck around and got us moved in by 11pm!

I hope we don't move for a long long time but if we do, Were going to call Burloak Movers. I highly recommend them.

Would highly recommend them. Spoke with Martin and he was very nice and provided us a reasonable quote. Justin and Mike, showed up on time. Very nice guys. The protected all the furniture and boxes, took the time not to damage anything. This was the first time we're felt happy about the movers we hired. We are glad about the overall service. They even took things to the dump for us. I would use this company again. Thank you !
