These are SCAM movers. BEWARE. They are the most shady, dishonest bunch of crooks that call themselves a moving company. Read the bad reviews, they are all consistent with the service you will get. I am going to explain in detail my experience, so others can learn from this and go with ANY OTHER moving company.
First red flag, when I called them and asked for pricing and rates, they said it would be a 99$ deposit to secure their vehicle. They charged my credit card 200$. Take note the move hasnât even happened yet. When I call them about it, they deny saying that and wonât refund the money.
Next red flag, the company claims they will have movers arrive between 9-10am. 10am rolls around, no movers. I call the company. They give me the run around and that they will be there soon. 1030, call again. âTheyâre on their wayâ. They didnât show up until 11:15am. This is not acceptable. I have a full house of things I need to move and a huge chunk of the day is gone because they arenât organized.
Then, the movers came. Whenever I turned my back, they were going through my fridge helping themselves to whatever they wanted. They asked me to plastic wrap all my things so they didnât have to do it. Now I was under the impression based on my friends experiences, when you hire movers, itâs a point and they move your stuff experience. This was not the case AT ALL. I paid for 2 movers, the one guy didnât work 75% of the time. He either stood around, or disappeared on his phone for a walk somewhere. The other guy was on his phone the ENTIRE TIME. Communication was terrible. I had to step in and assist moving stuff since the one guy wasnât ever doing anything, just to keep the job moving along. Clearly they were trying to run up the clock to boost their hourly charge. What took 7.5 hours to load the truck, wouldâve taken half the time with my friends.
I asked to come with their biggest vehicle as I had a lot of stuff to move. They show up with a mid sized vehicle that I knew right away wouldnât fit everything. So near the end of filling the van, they tried to charge me for a second crew to come with ANOTHER moving truck because they didnât come with what I asked for in the first place!! What kind of business is run like this!?!? It also took them 4 hours to drive my stuff to my new place, when it only took me 2 hours. Again, running up the clock.
I had dirt bike gasoline in jerry cans full. They didnât secure it, and the entire jugs emptied all over my clothing, and furniture.. they crushed a 24 pack of white claw tall boys. Again, went all over my stuff. Did not handle anything with care at all. And when we arrived at my new place, they opened the lift gate and a bunch of my furniture fell from the top of the truck down onto concrete. I cannot stress enough the amount of damage they caused. The entire move took the entire day⊠completely rediculous. I had to rent a trailer and go back to my house the next day to get the rest of my stuff 10% of my stuff, because they didnât come with the truck I originally booked!
They mustâve used the lift gate a total of 3 or 4 times, my neighbour confirmed this. They just fired all my stuff into the truck without care, and damaged almost every thing they handled. I have some photos I can provide below, but I will need to get more. I have an expensive computer monitor that retails for over 2k. They put a deep scratch through the screen. I called repair companies, they said for this monitor, you have to replace the entire monitor. I forwarded this information to their âclaims departmentâ which is just another scammer on the phone claiming he is going to look into everything and reimburse me for all damages. What did they do? They ignored my follow up emails, blocked my phone number, and when I called from other numbers or had my friends call, they would just hang up or block their numbers. These guys are scammers. They will damage your stuff, and they are extremely unprofessional. STAY AWAY from these guys, the good reviews are fake.
