I tried to look for the hours of operation of this building everywhere. All it says in the email is that i have 7 days to pick it up. Not 7 BUSINESS DAYS - 7 days. Nowhere in the email does it provide hours. Anyways, my husband goes there on a Saturday morning, and only when he gets there does he see it is not open on Saturday. Ikea needs to provide the hours of operation in the email.

Picked up some shelves today and the guys that helped me out were amazing! They were super friendly and I seriously can’t thank them enough for helping my dad and I get the shelves into my car because they were so heavy there was no way we could have done it ourselves (We couldn’t even get them out when we got home and I had to open the boxes and unload them piece by piece). I don’t know if either of the two were the same as the guy who answered the phone when I called, but if not, he was also very friendly and it was all around a very good experience. I’ve seen so many negative reviews and I honestly can’t see why, I would gladly order online from Ikea again and go back there to pick up. Thanks so much you guys! 🙂

After reading all these reviews, I figured I should call in the morning to make sure my order was there even though I got the text. The lady on the phone was very nice and she said the order was indeed there.
I googled the building ahead of time so it was actually quite easy to find. They must have added an extra sign where to pull in since the last few reviews, it wasn't hard for me to find at all.
The man unloaded the boxes directly into my van, and was very nice as well.
Overall I had a good experience!

Picked up our ikea orders twice from this location this week. The collection process was smooth, guy the works there was super helpful and friendly.

Felt not safe at this location,
worst customer service. Reached there around 5.40 pm and they were open until 6 pm still noone was replying. At 6 pm someone came outside and rude behavior. Seems like they not working properly. Owners, need attention !

My husband picked up a bed and all of it's parts for me the other night and an individual brought the items out on a skid, dropped them at my husbands vehicle and said "there you go". He left my husband and my son to load these large, heavy items alone. He didn't offer any help and hovered in around his bay door while my husband and son had to lift these items into their vehicle alone. Once they were done the individual came out to grab the pallet and headed on back inside! I couldn't believe the lack of customer service and decency to help someone. I was supposed to pick up the bed by myself but thankfully my husband was able to go for me because I most certainly wouldn't have been able to load all of those items into a vehicle alone. First time using the Kingston Collection Point and it honestly wasn't worth the extra $39 shipping to get it here. If there is a next time, I'll just make the trip to Ottawa myself.

Location makes picking up IKEA furniture easy if your not near a store. Staff are friendly and my order was very quickly brought to the loading door to load into our vehicle. They took time to verify I had the correct amount of items and provided me with the invoice/receipt if there are any issues.
