I called to schedule a wheel chair access van for pick up for my mother. I asked to schedule for Tuesday. She said okay we will be there. I mentioned "don't you need my address?" She said sure. I told her and got the sense she didn't bother with it so I asked should I be confirming this the day of And she said yeah call monday to confirm and hung up. Clearly, she wrote down nothing and wasn't even listening. Absolutely ridiculous

Two weekends ago I called them after an uber bailed on me because I couldn’t lift my walker into it with my groceries. I called the company and they assured me someone would be there soon and would be helpful. After half an hour I called and made an inquirie about the cab. They said it was in the way. After another 20 minutes I called again. She said she was calling the cab again. I waited ten minutes and gave up and ended up walking home putting me in huge amounts of pain. The lady was very nice on the phone the first two times, but sounded so annoyed the last time. I am so upset they would leave a knowing disabled person waiting let alone anyone waiting that long for a ride home. So thoroughly disgusted by this.

They are amazing .drivers are polite always a good experience i highly recommend them they go out of there way to help people i didn't have money and they helped me until I was able to get ahold of my parents i hear of people ditching them all the time but they are a really good company

Have had many safe drives from them BUT the last driver, pulled over his car, and was inappropriate with me.
He saw me get into my car several weeks later WITH my daughter and her friend and proceeded to follow my car... I lost him so I parked at shopper's drug mart....when I was getting the kids out of the car he pulled up and just stared me down.
When I complained to the company, it was the original driver I had... working on dispatch. She decided to do nothing about it.
(Which I understand that they're both from the same country, but, what the hell?)
Do NOT let this company drive your kids to school and back.
Please, look out for your loved ones.
Grand Taxi hires people without background checks... my experience should say enough.

BEWARE - unsafe and uncomfortable experience.

Horrible experience.

We ordered a cab, they told us a price over the phone. The cab arrived as a van with "regional" written on it, we asked him what company he is with and he said that he's not with a company just a driver.

When we got in the van we confirmed the price for the drive to our location.. he quoted us $15 more than what was discussed over the phone.

The driver demanded we paid him in cash before he drove us to our location.

He then proceeded to tell us the drive from Port colbourne to Welland will be 1hr - this is a complete lie.

We requested that he let's us out of the van as we felt uncomfortable and unsafe in the presence of this driver.

The driver was very aggressive and rude, we all felt very uncomfortable as this is not normal cab behavior.

We then called the dispatch number and the dispatcher let us know that this was one of there drivers but couldn't tell us the license plate of this driver.

The company doesn't even know who is picking up their customers?

This whole situation made us feel very unsafe and made us feel like we were going to be kidnapped because of this man.

First of all I was picked up on time and got where I had to go on time and arrived safely. The vehicle was filthy the pleather was peeling and reaked of cigarette smoke. The windshield had a huge crack in it on the driver's side and the most disturbing thing to me was the driver was also the dispatcher and was using a handheld cell phone to receive and dispatch calls, which I'm pretty sure it's called distracted driving and is illegal. How does this happen

If it was possible I would give this place zero stars. I am absolutely disgusted in this company. I work in a retail store and had an elderly customer (who is on oxygen tanks and has a walker) ask us to call her a cab from this company, which we did after about half and hour and still no taxi we called again. When I called I asked to speak to management I was told they were not there, after explaining the situation to the lady that had picked up the phone she handed the phone off to someone else. When I asked this person what was going on they hadn't even dispatched anyone out (even though we were told that someone was on their way) they didn't have her address or any of her information written down to even have someone sent out. Because this customer was going to Fenwick we were told that she would have to wait another hour for someone to be coming to get her to go out that way. I explained that she is on oxygen and running extremely low and needed to be picked up immediately. After another 20 mins of waiting after the second phone call the taxi still never arrived and thankfully a kind passerby offered to take the lady home. I will NEVER be calling this company nor will I be using this company to get any of my customers home. I understand that it is our of town and that it is not a quick drive but we were told someone was coming and we had already explained she needs to get home and get more oxygen and no one cared. I highly suggest using another company that doesn't leave elderly clients stranded.
