Didn't think I'd have to post again, as normally customer service there has been wonderful on my end. Today I asked the gentleman at the till which flat he had rung in because it was tall cans and more then 24.
He decided to tell me ( in tone) " well people always count wrong." And more so " you can always go somewhere else, I've worked here 12 years."
Young sir if you work customer service, you should know how to better treat people, and two if you've worked there that long, I grunted you KNOW you are the only option on this side of the bridge.
Sadly I know I'll be back, but I promise to make efforts to go to kelowna and not help support a place that puts people down for inquiries.

I just noticed now that I was ripped off $20 as I was going to put my money away.I was in at about 3:15pm today!!! I will be coming by on Tuesday as Monday is a holiday (Thanksgiving) I had ALL my bottles/cans already counted!!! See you Tuesday 🙂
**Sorry, but you have me mistake for someone else, as my count was not $280 worth of bottles & cans as you stated in your reply!!
My count was $47.50. To which I only received $27.50

It's taken a while, but I can say I am over the whole .08 cents a can issue or whatever you claim. My issue is the constant being shorted. Please correct me if I am wrong but 8 flats of beer cans at .08 cents should be 15.36? Yet somehow the screen showed $9 and change. Who knows what else I may have missed . The total for my refund that day was $32 and you ripped me off 5. I can only imagine if this happens consistently throughout the day and for orders larger in size.
And please don't get me wrong we are all humans we make mistakes but to never learn, and be making them years later still...shows there's a bigger issue here.

When I first pulled in was expecting to be a while. But everything went really fast and I was in and out pretty quickly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Got my bottles sorted and was paid and out. They have a pretty good system in place. Great place to do returns.

I won't bring my empties here anymore. A couple of times, I had suspected that I wasn't given the correct change. The last time I came in with a huge Kirkland garbage bag full of 2L alcohol beverage containers along with numerous beer cans, pop cans and pop bottles to boot and water bottles. My refund? A quarter and 2 dimes!! Too many people are making claims of being shorted. They can't all be wrong. Not returning

I did not come in today. This was last week and rather than make a public scene about it during a hot and very long lineup, I chose to take what was given me and left. It's not always obvious that we should have gotten more back but when we return to our vehicles and think about the quantity brought in and the actual amount received back, many times it doesn't add up!
A customer shouldn't have to always check that they are getting their correct change back, as the responsibility is on the business. Thank you

Do not go to this location. These people are thieves!!! I went there with probably 5 or 6 large bags full of cans and bottles and should have received about $50 but only received $25. My parents went there today and also didn't receive their full refund. My dad made the guy aware and he got another almost $10 back which they would have kept if my dad wouldn't have said anything. And they still think they should have received more back. Basically, these guys are thieves and super dishonest service so don't go there!

Since I cannot reply no the answer given to me by the owner, I will add my response here.
How else do you explain the MANY reviews that claim the same?!!!
We have only had negative experiences with this location and I thought it's time I let others know. I stand by my review as we have experienced the same time and time again! Will be going to the Kelowna location from now on!
Btw, many of your responses are extremely unprofessional which to me only solidifies what I'm experiencing at this location.

Wow, who knew you could receive such outstanding service from a recycling depot?! Every single one of those guys is ALWAYS hustling around, no matter the time of day, and if I'm unloading a large load from my vehicle and one of them is walking by, they always jump in to help me, without even asking if I need help. I love it! I am so impressed by this place, I am happy to tell everyone about it. Thanks guys, keep up the amazing work you're doing running such an efficient depot!

This is the first establishment that I’ve had to go to and actually sort the bottles myself rather then the workers there doing it. You can’t even leave the garbage bags so your forced to bring back sticky smelly bags back into your car. Overall a lazy establishment would not return. Extra star because the cashier guy was good.
