My family and I enjoyed this outdoor pool. We had teens and a toddler. There is stuff to do for both ages. We never tried the food as we came just at 3pm. We only wish we came on a hotter day because it was windy out. Everything was great, we would come back again.

Absolutely love the Vulcan Pool! 🌊💙

This gem of a facility is truly one of the best around. The water is always clean and well-maintained, the layout is perfect for swimmers of all levels, and the atmosphere is welcoming and fun. Whether you’re there for a leisurely swim, family splash time, waterslides or swimming lessons, there’s something for everyone.

What really sets the Vulcan Pool apart, though, is the incredible staff. From the front desk to the lifeguards, every single team member is kind, professional, and genuinely committed to making your experience a great one. They’re always keeping things safe while still being approachable, friendly, and fun — especially with the kids!

The facility is bright, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of space in and out of the pool. We’re lucky to have a place like this in the area — it’s more than just a pool, it’s a hub of summer fun and connection. 🌞

Highly recommend diving in — you’ll love it there! đŸŠâ€â™€ïžâœš

Very nice pool, staff always helpful and friendly, very clean and lots to do for the kids. Wish if they would have the wibit set up on weekends too. And the 30 min closing would be nice if they just have you out of the pool for 30min and wouldn’t have to leave the pool and come back pay again(at least discounted admission would make sense). But overall it’s a great pool! Thank you!

This is a great facility for an outdoor pool, but there are some key issues that could be improved.
‱ The biggest concern is not being allowed to bring in your own food. While it makes sense to prohibit eating on the pool deck, the designated eating space is very limited. There’s an entire platform with tables that guests aren’t allowed to use, which feels like a missed opportunity.
‱ For anyone with dietary restrictions, the concession is not an option. On top of that, concession wait times can be up to an hour, which is not practical.
‱ Seating around the pool is also limited, even though there’s plenty of space available to add more chairs.

Overall, there are some great opportunities for Vulcan to make this facility even better

We had an incredible experience at the Vulcan pool recently for a birthday party. The venue itself is awesome!! Offering a wide range of thrilling activities for kids. From the two waterslides to the exciting climbing wall over the pool and diving board, there was no shortage of fun and adventure. Although we were slightly disappointed that the spray circles, hot tub and concessions were not open during our visit, it didn't dampen our spirits or hinder our enjoyment in any way. We left with lasting memories and a desire to return in the future. I can't wait to revisit this remarkable space and create more unforgettable moments!

Refusing personal wheelchairs due to “dirt getting on the pool deck” seems to be an unreasonable excuse for denying accessibility equipment. It is to be expected that a outdoor pool have access to a hose to clean an OUTDOOR POOL DECK and the act of “cleaning the deck or wheels” is not putting the staff or facility into undue hardship. If an individual were to become ill or injured these acts would need to be preformed to maintain health and safety for all patrons and therefore the equipment needed to clean the wheels/deck would be required to be on site and easily accessible.
But then requiring a family to leave the facility so they can FEED A SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD fruit snacks as there was no available OR accessible space (no wheelchair allowed in) in the concession area and wait in line again as a way to “accommodate” said child is ridiculous and goes against the Alberta Human Rights Act as well as the Duty to Accommodate. This is disgusting behaviour and sends a poor message about your facility, do better.

I read some reviews about this place, but here’s some things I wish I knew before going to this swimming pool:
You can’t bring your own food, there’s a tiny concession that you can buy burgers, hot dogs, but not one single healthy/nutrition option to buy from
there were like four people in the line in front of me and I waited one hour to order. The staff members don’t seem to be in a rush or bothered by any line ups.
They don’t allow you to bring any kind of lawn chairs or beach chairs, there’s no many spots to seat either and very little shade throughout the space.
If you come from afar, it might not be worthy as the space is very limited and there’s always a line up, you might be sent away if they reach capacity . But It is fun for the kids as the pools and slides are nice and there’s a waddling pool for the little ones.
