I came I here after trying for 2 weeks to get some couplers for my radio. Was greeted by Dalton who said won't help you and our radio guy is gone. Took me to the back where there was a guy playing on his phone saying he'll help me in a couple hours when he's not so busy. So I went to look at what was on the shelf and he said if you buy the wrong part it's 20% restocking fee. What kind of business is this? I will not be back and will recommend to everyone to go elsewhere.

Went and got some new phones added to my account. Dalton was excellent with his attention to what I needed. I’ve never had any reason to complain about their service. I’ll go back every time for my cellular needs. Thanks everyone!!

Recently was in and received top-notch service from Dalton at Koodo-Wainwright. (I should add, my call the previous day with Ryan was pleasant and satisfying as well, ultimately leading me in to my visit the next day).
Dalton was very pleasant and informative, accommodating my needs, answering numerous questions and saving me in areas I certainly didn’t expect. His cross-selling should make his employer pleased. I’m thankful he asked about these products as I very likely would have forgotten to ‘shop’, with my limited time of opportunity.

Been there twice now, neither time they would help and I won’t be back. On this last occasion, my SIM was apparently defective as my cell service dropped out last night and when I talked to Telus, they did some checking and ended up telling me to go in and just get a new SIM at no cost because it was defective.

I go in and the first and only question I get at the counter was if Telus was crediting my account for the twenty bucks I would have to pay despite what Telus had told me. The only solution he provided was either to pay the twenty bucks or drive to a corporate Telus store in Edmonton or Lloyd. He could have looked at my account or talked to Telus himself to determine how best to serve me as a client, but either chose not to (likely) or didn’t even realize this as a viable option. The fact that there was only one other customer in at the time, who was being helped by someone else, suggested that he had the time to spend to try to help me, but chose not to.

As a customer, I don’t care if you are a corporate store or an affiliate, if you slap giant Telus logos on your business, I only see Telus as a consumer and expect the same professional and courteous service that has kept me as a Telus customer for well over a decade.

The actual Telus employee whom I had talked to earlier called me about 10 minutes after I left Lakeland communications to see how I had made out. I went through everything and expressed my displeasure with being told one thing by Telus and something else by Lakeland. I said that if Telus is allowing small affiliate companies to be displaying giant Telus signs on their businesses, the customer service they provide should be at a minimum on par or better than Telus corporate. After reading other reviews, it seems like people who they know in town get excellent customer service, but if you aren’t known, you are brushed off.

Personally, I like supporting local businesses because Wainwright is an exceptional community, but for your cellular needs, I am sorry to say that you are better off either driving to a city or dealing with Telus themselves over the phone or online and have them ship you out the product you need instead of dealing with Lakeland.

We popped into Lakeland communications to set up a phone and Shane got it done promptly and also put a glass protector on for us. I always get great service at Lakeland!
