I was pleasantly surprised by my visit for lunch buffet yesterday. I've lived in the area for 5 years and never check this place out. My companion knew all about it. Nice decor, earthy tones. Cathedral ceiling makes for a large open space. Western-style food offerings, fresh pizza, fried chicken & smashed spuds, Caesar salad all worked for me. Nice & attentive service from the friendly staff. Reasonably priced too ($17). Recommended.

The Chalet catered my wedding. The staff was friendly, helpful, and the food was amazing! Many guests specifically mentioned how great the pulled pork was (I agree as a huge pulled pork lover). We got the “chalet buffet” which had a lot of options and we were happy with the price of 28$ a plate. The bartenders were great too. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Wonderful food if you are looking for a buffet style restaurant. The buffet is located down a couple of steps from the seating area which could be an issue for anyone having some mobility issues. A bit dated, but clean with quite friendly staff. The prices are great. Wors of caution that if you are highly allergic to seafood you may not want to tempt the buffet as it's hard to tell if cross-contamination has occurred.

The Chalet Buffet was ridiculously good for the price. I honestly couldn't find one mediocre item on the buffet menu selection that didn't satisfy my very discriminating tastes. Everything from the soups, salads, desserts, and main course items were cooked and prepared to absolute perfection. This restaurant has set the bar quite high for customer satisfaction in smorgasbord dining. It was more than worth the time and gas expense of enduring a four hour commute from out of town to patronize this fine Yorkton restaurant!!!!!

We went there for the buffet on Sunday at around lunch time. The place was quite busy but they were still able to accommodate our group of 14 people and we only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. The food was very good. The price was much better than being in one of the larger cities at 19 dollars for an adult. We would most definitely return and eat here again.

$19 for a Saturday night buffet! Quality food compared with the price. The most important is the atmosphere: there is no disgusting curry smell. I love the place
