I have been going here for years, but I was not happy about the service today. The doctor wrote me a prescription for two medications. The pharmacist gave me the first medication and tried sending me off without even mentioning my second medication. When I asked about the second medication they said "unfortunately that's not covered (by status)." Why wasn't I given the option to purchase my second medication? Did they just assume that I won't buy my medication just because I am a First Nation individual? Or that I can't afford it?

It made me wonder how many other First Nation customers had to experience this. I would've never received my much needed second medication if the prescription was faxed by the doctor, because I wouldn't have known about it. It's a good thing he gave me the paper to take in myself.

I payed for my second medication in the end. I just don't understand why it was made to be a bigger deal than it should have been. I don't think I will be back. They are nice though.

*Edit: I changed it from two stars to one because I found out that the 2nd medication was supposed to be covered. So they charged me for something that should have been free. DO NOT GO TO PHARMASAVE.

I went to Shopper's Drug Mart Pharmacy with the same prescription and was expecting to pay. The pharmacist there told me it's covered and gave me no hassle.

I went here just before and after my walk-in appointment next door. The first time in, the pharmacist gave me over-the-counter recommendations for the cold I was experiencing. When I returned, just before closing to fill a prescription, the friendly and professional administrative assistant ran over to the clinic to get my prescription. It was quick and took less than 10 minutes to be on my way.

These guys used to be plesent to deal with. But the owner took over as pharmist and the guy is extremely rude and racist. He threw my prescription at me and when I asked him what his problem was he yelled at me pointing his finger. My wife tried to go talk to vershank and he said he was the owner phones my doctor and said I was using intimidating tactics lol. Don't waste your time giving this guy business. Guys like this don't need to owning stores if u pick and choose who u want to be nice to.

We went to make an appointment today there with my friend and one of the front desk lady was so rude .. we literally embarrassed by her .. she just threw a pen for us when we asked a pen for to fill up a form .. these kind of employee should be get fired .. she is not a good person or not even a got any manners !! Such a bad experience!!! It was our first day there and We are not going back there ..it’s a shame for Yorkton to have such employees !!
