If you happen to be in Canmore you gave to try this place. It's a full deli with meat, cheese and other stuff for sale as well as soup and sandwich restaurant. Sandwiches are to die for and are very reasonably priced. If you want to know where the locals go it's here. I visit Valbella's every time I am in Canmore.

First time going and had very welcoming staff. The store was organized ,sanitary. I had the veggie sandwich and hands down it was the best veggie sandwich I’ve ever had. I wish I got ten more before I left. Haven’t stopped thinking about it sooo much flavour everything is soooo balanced everything is fresh. Wish I could recreate at home should’ve asked for a recipe list . Awesome store overall!! 😅

We recently purchased for take away extremely delicious meat pies! One is a tortiere and the other is a chicken pie. Awesome delicious! I wanted to show the individual pieces so you can see the fillings are full of meat. Great value!

We have been coming to Valbella each time we are in the area and never had a disappointment until this most recent visit. Drove in from nearby campground for our last meal before heading home, and was met with an unbelievably poor and arrogant customer service. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, our server, a young fella bluntly replied, “We don’t have it.” We saw it was on the menu, and asked again (to be sure if we heard correctly), this time mentioned that it was on the menu. He plainly repeated, “We don’t have it.”OK, we got it this time - but would it have hurt if Valbella would be little courteous about not being able to offer something they had on the menu? He also asked if I would like my sandwich heated, to which I replied, yes please. I saw a nod/acknowledgement as he went away to prep the sandwich. What was handed back to me was a cold sandwich in a bag. We later enquired if our sandwiches were heated, as he had offered us the option in the first place. His response was just critically surprised, “Oh you want them heated?” Anyway, it was a bad start to our day. That young fella and the person at the check out all just seemed to be in a bad mood or something but that really rubbed us off in a very wrong way. Why be unfriendly to your customers? Unless you don’t want us as customers - next time just put a sign - I can read English very well.

Great deli/butcher in Canmore. We bought sandwiches on several days for our hikes and went back before our flight to Calgary to grab some snacks. The staff is friendly and they are efficient (sandwiches are made fresh in the morning and ready to go). We loved the schnitzel sandwich and the Valbella special as well as the cherry yogurt pastry and the cured meat. There’s also a vending machine that’s open after hours!

The variety of good food is great! The wide array of sausage selections is heavenly. First we bought the sausage with the blackened skin displayed in the counter and came back the next day to buy a whole pack to bring home.

Wenn Sie im Banff Urlaub mache und Fleisch mögen, müssen Sie hier halten. Sehr feines Frischfleisch, Wurstwaren, Aufschnitt, Gemüsespiesse und richtiges Brot. Wenn ich könnte würde ich 6 Sterne vergeben. Vielen Dank für ihre super Produkte💪
