We own a bed and breakfast in the area and belong to Heritage Run (paying a yearly fee, for 7 years) I haven't had any recommendations or calls from this tourist spot all year so I went in to find out why. There were three students working here that day - I asked what B&B's they were recommending in the area and they all were at a loss - one replied "is this a test?" - not really just wanting to know what they knew about the area - DIDN'T even know about us!! Shameful - they don't seem to know much about the area and things to do either - very poorly trained 🙁 tourism has really dropped the ball on this gang - I had a room open last night and went to call to tell them but they were CLOSED on Sunday - What? our season is so short - why do they choose to close on Sundays - very disappointing!!

The ladies who were here when i stopped by one September day were so nice and informative. It was great to chat with them and find out more about the St Lawrence /Marystown area of Newfoundland. There is also a clean, wheelchair-accessible washroom, and artefacts and local cookery books to look at.

Sorry but you were no help at all. After I pulled you away from your computer. Asked for a map of the area. A reduced dark photo copy of a map you cant read is not representing your community very well. Sorry it's all we have. Never asked where I was going or offer to help. Went back to her computer.
