Very disappointed & shaken up.
After a long delay in receiving bus services, both my daughter & myself were excited for the bus start this morning. We arrived at our stop 30 minutes early, eagerly waiting in the truck for her first official bus ride to school for Junior Kindergarten. As requested, 10 minutes prior to the “stop time” we got her bag on & got out of the truck - to see the bus come flying up. There was one older kid also at the stop as it is a “meeting spot” pick up for several kids. My daughter & I were running over to the older kid (less than 5 feet) to get on the bus, the older kid gets on, the bus driver was completely unaware we were even standing there. I kept my young child behind me, trying to make eye contact with the driver prior to having my daughter get on - good thing I did. I see the driver watching the older kid sitting down, where she then shuts the door in our face & starts driving off as we were standing at the steps of the bus. As she starts driving, I had to knock on the door of the bus (we were that close) for her to stop & open the door. As she opens the door, she looks dazed & confused - where I say my daughters name. My daughter hops on, the doors close again & she flies off. Never even checked her route papers to ensure the child was to be on her bus, where clearly she was oblivious of the head count at the stop prior. I never even had the chance to see my daughter sit in a seat, before they sped off. Before I even got into my vehicle, the bus had disappeared - evidently speeding way too fast, to a point I couldn’t even catch up afterwords. I ended up driving to the school, just to ensure my daughter was okay & was arriving at the proper destination. Clearly the driver was oblivious, yet I’m to trust this driver with my child’s life? It would have taken 2 seconds for my daughter, or even a strap of her backpack to get stuck in the door & have her dragged down the road due to the driver not ensuring the door or the surroundings of the bus were clear before proceeding. Driver was clearly in a rush despite being 10 minutes ahead of schedule & extremely unsafe.
A call was made immediately to the operators, to have this dealt with.

Absolute nightmare to work with, if you can even call it “working with”. Doesn’t answer emails, screens phone calls. Don’t waste your time because they don’t even answer after 10+ calls and emails. We have been contacting them consistently since January and have yet to be answered.

Poor planning has lead to a bus shortage for our kids. Employing elderly people and not being in new staff in a timely manner has lead to this problem. Our 70 something bus driver quit the second week of school and now we all have to solve their driver shortage problem.

Update- we finally got a driver, it was going well. However again we are without a driver and back to having to make accommodations to get our kids to school.
