Some drivers will give you a flat rate, others will run the meter. I spent a week in the summer going to the exact same place (both starting and finishing point were the same), and it would cost me a different amount of $$ depending on the driver. Some of them run the meter and take a route that ends up costing more money, I prefer the ones that give me a flat rate, especially when it's during heavy traffic hours (I.e. when the military is on lunch or finishing for the day). It's also very difficult to even get a taxi, especially in the morning hours, or during a holiday (I.e. on New Years Eve, when there's literally only 2 taxis in the whole town, it was an hour+ long wait time. I ended up just walking home). I've been told by drivers that they usually only have 1 driver on/working at a time. Which means if they're bringing someone into Pembroke, you'll be waiting an hour or so for a cab.

Called the taxi twice tonight since my truck broke down to go to a motel, never showed up, walked 10ish km's to a motel. Exhausted but at least i didnt die. This village/town is pathetic.

Disappointing, to say the least. Driver was rude, his van door was impossible to open and he told me not to play with it as I was struggling to get out. I took a cab this morning through a different company and paid a total of $7 for the ride. Took Petawawa taxi this afternoon for the exact same drive and paid $9.80. What’s up with that? Their flat rate was $7.10. Ridiculous. Won’t be using them again.

Got a taxi home that came out to roughly 10$. I gave the driver a 20 dollar bill and he told me that he did not have any change and that they do not accept card. It was late and I gave the driver the 20$ on the promise that he would come back the next day and give me my change. I wasn’t surprised to have him not show up the next day.

One of their drivers comes through the drive thru at a fast food place I work at. He's extremely rude to me and the other workers, he swears, throws money at us, and speeds away. If that's how he treats us, I can't imagine how he treats his customers.

Woman in white taxi van blocking me in almost daily at Valour school. She has no reason to do this as she can pull up 5 to 10 feet and not block me in or get in line at the school like everyone else. There are cars behind me and she pulls up and blocks me in so I can't get out.
