Someone I know was left there to stand out in the rain all night long and all day, wouldn't give him a place to sleep in the hall and the shelter staff lady got mad when a man told this person to ask again for place to sleep and she yelled at this person!!! This is absolutely disgusting and not ok!!!!!
I see 5 star reviews and it's making me wonder if these are real reviews!!!! I gave one star but really it deserves a 0!!!!

I have no words to describe the help I received from this place and the wonderful women that work here. I was provided with a way out, something that I thought was impossible. The counselling, both for youths and adults is so focused and informative; it provides a solid base to build a new life...New Awakenings and a breath of fresh air.

A great support system for people I'm a bad spot. Excellent staff, who are very helpful in providing a listening ear, recommendations on secondary support services as well as getting you back on your feet after a difficult life experience.

I'm very happy APCH was there for me, and would recommend them to anyone currently facing a crisis.

I give a place called home 5 STARS ☆☆☆☆☆ Because....

A Place Called home is a wonderful place to lay your head but also a awesome place to get the best opportunities to find rooms and you can also get help across the street from housing help and the support from the awesome staff at APCH (A PLACE CALLED HOME) there the the reason why I'm not on the street in the street of Oshawa instead I have a basement apartment I totally recommend the help and support that they give you.

They were there when I needed shelter and extra support. Tina went the extra mile when I needed it. She is my personal angel. Unfortunately I abused the work she tried to do. But I saw the light and with God's help and Tina's support I am doing awesome today. So thanks again Tina

What can you do when down on your luck. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. 3 meals per day, clean and comfortable.

It's a welcoming place for everybody even if you aren't homeless and need a bed you are still welcome there to get breakfast and coffee plus they have programs in the front of the building to be involved with
