We engaged the services of A Plus Movers for our across-town move. So glad we did! Mo, Estevan and Joseph were everything you could want in a moving team: timely, courteous, efficient and careful in the way they approached the job. The billing structure was fair and as agreed in the one simple phone call we made to get the quote and set up the move. Very professional and hassle-free from start to finish. Highly recommend.

What a great moving experience!! We needed movers to help us transport all our stuff from our apartment and over to our new place (2 stories!). Our movers did an amazing job! People who do great work deserve to be recognized. The 3 of them showed up 10 minutes early and got straight to work. Excellent attention to detail wrapping up all our furniture in padding and Saran wrap. My wife and I were really impressed.unloading process was organized and they did a great job avoiding the walls and navigating stairs. They made sure the furniture was placed exactly where we wanted it and they cleaned everything up nicely. My Wife and I couldn't be happier with our experience! For the price, it was well worth it

Using A Plus Movers was a great experience!!! We hired them to move a fragile, 400 pound video arcade game from one location to another, an hour away. They scheduled 4 guys do the move--all awesome, friendly guys, and super professional!!! They were very careful when moving the game and also made sure the game and our carpets stayed clean (it was snowy and wet outside.) Mohammed was very kind and reassuring that everything would go smoothly, and it absolutely did! We were very happy with their service and price, and highly recommend them! I am so beyond pleased with the service A plus movers gave me. It was my first time hiring a moving company and I can tell you I will be hiring them every time. I was moving into a condo and was only given 3 hours as they had to lock the elevator, and I have a lot of stuff. I was very worried that the moving company would not have enough time and man was I wrong. I have A LOT of stuff and they managed to move my entire place in 1.5 hours! I’ve never seen someone move so fast and efficient. No damage, not even a ding on a wall or any of my belongings. I am blown away on their efficiency, price, and timings. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Right from the very Beginner, Moe and his team helped to take a lot of stress out of an awkward moving scenario. Their prices are fair (with no surprise extra costs), they were friendly, professional, took extra care to wrap things carefully to avoid damage, and very efficient. I know it’s difficult to navigate through mixed reviews, but I’m very relieved I hired these guys, and would highly recommend them!

On June 29, 2014 we hired A-Plus Movers in Calgary to complete a move for us from our home to our new condo in downtown Calgary. When the mover's arrived in the morning we asked them to take extra care and effort in moving a delicate dining table that we own for which they advised us that they would charge an additional $50.00 as it was a heavy item and needed the extra attention. We agreed to this amount as we wanted the dining table to be successfully moved without any incident to the new location.

As the move progressed, they proceeded to move the table without any extra covers and/or special materials in order to protect it which we realized once it was in the truck as we had been busy with other tasks that needed to be done throughout the day. They moved forward with getting the table into the truck but called us to advise that the table had been chipped on the side and it was not their fault. We questioned this as we did check the table earlier but ended up letting them proceed with the move as they were adamantly denying that they had caused any damage. We also felt a little scared and intimated by the movers since they had all our possessions in their truck.

The movers then arrived at our new condo to unload at which point we let them do their job and move our belongings as we waited in the unit so we could start unpacking the boxes. The table was one of the last items they brought into the suite which we immediately checked and noticed it had a significant amount of chips and cracks along the outside. I immediately notified the movers to which they expressed their disinterest in the complaint and dismissed our concerns. They then attempted to shift the blame to us indicating that the damage was caused before the move which was not possible as we had checked it earlier and there was no damage to the table.

My wife and I told the movers to indicate on the contract that their was damage on the table before we signed the contract. They were dismissive of this request as well and at the end wrote 'a few small cracks' on the contract. Feeling intimidated we felt forced into signing the contract but notified them we would immediately call the owner of the company to complain.

After leaving, I immediately contacted the company and notified them of the damage to which they said they would look into the complaint and resolve the issue. After waiting a day, we did not receive any contact so I proceeded to text my contact to find out the status of our complaint. He was very dismissive as well indicating that the movers told us the damage was caused before they moved the dining table and that we tipped them $50.00 for a 'good' job with the move. The movers had lied to the owner of the company as we told him the damage was caused after the move and the $50.00 fee was for moving a heavy object as indicated on the contract.

He then stopped responding to all text messages and calls that I have attempted to make and I have no resolution but only a broken table. It has been a week with me attempting to make contact with anyone at the company but I have had no luck as no one will respond to my calls and voicemails.

Be very afraid of this company and their shady business practices. I would never hire them again! I will also be issuing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
