I recently rented a unit at Access Storage in North York and was really impressed with Regina and Gary. They were very friendly and helpful addressing all my questions and concerns.

They took the time to personally show me all the different units and helped me choose the one best suited to my needs.

No upselling. No pressure and I found that comforting. This facility is very clean, well-maintained, and secure with good lighting.

I made a minor suggestion and they ended up implementing it within no time. No really they did. That says a lot about how they listen, take your concerns or suggestions to heart as if it was a family run business. Need I say more? 10/10

Very nice, clean and well-ventilated storage. I got two phone calls from the call centre and the location after booking the reservation on their website. The staff from the location and the call centre were both friendly and professional. The representative at the front desk, Gary, a very friendly and experienced member of staff, explained the agreement in detail and showed me the different storage sizes according to my needs. The storage is easily accessible and convenient to load. Gary and his colleague resolved my problem quickly and responsibly when I encountered an issue with access. I recommend this storage to anyone who needs it. But it would be better to offer more promotions to existing customers as a gesture of appreciation.

Checked out, and informed them, before the last day of our first 4 weeks there. They said as long as you were out by 6pm on the 17th of April, you wouldn’t be billed extra. They’d called in the lead up asking if I was staying, and I said not in the same unit at the higher rate I was going to be charged. They tried providing a discounted retention offer for a different unit, but would not for the same unit. The manager below the senior manager Atlaf was supposed to call me back to confirm whether a discount in the same unit would be provided and we’d decide then and there whether I was staying and that as long as they’d been informed it would be okay either way what I did. I did not receive a call so I sent an email that day before closing instead AND called the next morning to CONFIRM we’d be out by 6pm on the 17th. I said I hope I don’t get billed accidentally. Lo and behold, received a near $250 invoice for checking out on the “21st” of April in my email. I assume this some prorated amount for the month for being there 5 days extra. They’d asked for a 5 star review before I even had the unit but I guess good thing I waited until after the experience was up. Terrible experience. Do not trust what they say, especially if you are leaving after a promo deal. Hopefully I can get his resolved, but alas, will have to take time out of my day and contact the appropriate authorities to deal with it.

Be careful out there. Felt like their tune changed the second I decided not to stay.

I won’t go into detail about what happened to the items I had left there, but it was such a bad experience. The staff member I spoke to on the phone was quite unprofessional as well.

I recently rented a storage unit for the first time, and Access Storage made the process incredibly easy! Their team was very helpful over the phone while I was researching options. When I visited the Victoria Park location to check the unit and sign the contract, the store manager, Altaf N., was outstanding. He made the entire process quick and straightforward. I highly recommend Access Storage!
