Airlink Transportation - Brantford, Ontario

As a former employee, I had the opportunity to see firsthand how Airlink operates and my opinion is that the service does not justify the higher price point.

A major issue that stood out to me was how poorly Airlink handles customer data. Sensitive information like names, phone numbers, addresses, and even flight numbers have been sent to me through unencrypted emails, not protected in any way. For a service charging over $250 per private ride (from Pearson to Paris, ON as of Oct 2024), this is a serious security issue and reflects a lack of care for customer privacy.

Another issue is the condition of some of the cars. Despite the high price, not all vehicles are up to the expected standard. Some are old and far from presentable. I took the attached pictures during multiple pre-trip checks. As a customer paying for a premium service I would expect the vehicles to look better.

While Airlink does offer certain conveniences - drivers will help with bags, wait for customers, and call ahead to confirm pickups - these perks hardly justify the price. Service that can be booked directly from a phone offers reliable rides, professional drivers, and insurance for less. Personally, I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a ride with that service at the airport, whereas Airlink’s policy allows for up to 2 hours of wait time after arrival for shared rides.

In my opinion, the added costs aren't justified by the extra benefits, especially when it comes to protecting customer data and vehicle quality.

We were inconvenienced on our return trip. We booked for a private ride and found out within 24 that we were being picked with 4 other passengers in a van. My husband had a very difficult time getting in and out of the van as he has a disability. Steve was a very pleasant and helpful driver. Very disappointed with the arrangement changes. In your communication to us, you promised a refund of $21.47 and we are still waiting. A full refund on return trip would be appropriate for the inconvenience.

I'm so happy we booked a streamless process with Airlink to take us to Pearson Airport from Brantford at 340 am. Driver William was exceptional. Showed up at the appointed time. Very engaging. Highly recommend

Used this company quite a bit for airport travel in the past but they burned my family and I pretty good on Christmas Day with no ride for 7 of us .
Left at Pearson with no ride they did refund us payment so that and past before experience were the reason for 2 stars.
No apologies for doing so my loyalty to them before this experience I hoped for a little refund or offered future discounts or apology . But nothing. Used them faithfully 3 times a year for a number of years and we were left stranded on Christmas Day.
