Hele handige service om op je bestemming te komen, geen gedoe met tillen van je bagage. ter plaatse een ticket geboekt en dan kan je meteen door. Je bent in 5 kwartier in de stad.

De terugweg had ik ook gebruik hiervan gemaakt, toen deden ze er een uur en 3 kwartier over. Dit was een beetje too much, maar we stonden toen stil bij een station voor onbekende reden.

The Airport Limousine Bus is a great way to get from the airport to the city center in Shinjuku. We arrived at Haneda and bought the tickets for the next bus on the machine. You can follow the signs that say Bus and go to the elevator and go down to the platform. Your ticket indicates which platform your bus will arrive. The bus is extremely timely, with multiple buses running everywhere 5 minutes or so to various destinations.

The bus is super clean and there are people at the bus stop to assist with loading your luggage in the bottom compartment. The bus also has a screen that indicates the next step. We took the bus to Washington Hotel and walked to our hotel nearby by. Definitely recommend and a small price to pay for the convenience.

Got on from Ikebukuro to go to Narita T2. Normally the service is very good, but today the staff were kinda rude.

I asked if cash was okay to pay on the bus because I hadn’t made a reservation beforehand, but the male staff member in the orange uniform just waved me off to stand without cover to wait in the drizzle. Not sure if it was necessary to make me stand in the non-covered area as there was no one else with reserved tickets waiting to get on…?

Anyway, normally great service, but today I felt like it was lacking a little bit.

Handy, convenient way to get to and from Haneda airport (also services Narita). Although the subway is cheaper, the Airport Limousine takes the hassle of negotiating subway station access, changing trains and crowded carriages. Regular services to and from the airport and major Tokyo transport hubs. It was OK to use the subway heading into Tokyo from Haneda as my bags were not full/heavy. However, it was much easier to drop off bags filled with shopping in the bus storage bins than dragging them around on the subway.

その時私はちょうど成田に到着したばかりで、カウンターで切符を買おうとしていた。(成田空港第3ターミナル リムジンカウンター) カウンターのスタッフを楽にするつもりでてみましたが、その反応は非常に無愛想でせっかちで、少し怒鳴っていて怒っていました。カウンターがまだ混んでいなかったので、この女性スタッフはなぜそんなに焦って怒っているのだろうと思いました。おそらく私の片言の日本語のせいではないかと思いました。初めてリムジンバスに乗りましたが、女性スタッフのサービスの良さに驚きました。 しかし、バスの運転手はとてもフレンドリーで、確実に運転してくれたので、目的地までの旅を楽しむことができました.

It is such an easy way to travel between locations, and in my case, between Narita and Haneda and back. The bus was convenient, on time, and spacious, with plenty of room. I would advise against travelling anywhere near peak hour, though, as traffic will balloon out your journey by quite a while!

This is where I always get my bus back to Narita. Airport Limousine is a bus, to be clear, but it’s efficient and a good value. Definitely the best way to get to Narita if you’re in Shinjuku. Lugging luggage to Tokyo Station to get the Narita Express is not great.

Right opposite the Shinjuku station is the Airport Express Bus terminal. You can catch a bus to Haneda or Narita airport plus other destinations. We booked a day in advance. Cost us about $7 a person. Bus was full and you can sit anywhere. They accept two pieces of luggage and know where you are getting off. Terminal has seating area, toilets and a Lawson. Route to the gates are clearly marked. You can buy tickets at the ticket machines or queue up to the counter.
