Apex Taxi usually isn't my first choice, they are quite often late and won't even tell you are you paying $10 (standart in Canmore) or $15.
I called them on Staurday. Our driver was very polite and funny. He also prevented a car accident and I am very grateful for that as I was travelling with my 4 yo.

It's such a shame that sometimes the good companies in town are so busy that you have to call Apex Taxi. Very poor service. The old guy is just rude, plain rude and aggressive, especially over the phone. Never on time, and always confusing the addresses but blaming the passengers for it. They do charge more than other companies, a ride with Apex could be $12 and with any other company is $9/$10. Just make yourself a favor, booked a taxi with time and just don't call Apex.

Apex Taxi #11 just forced me onto a curb as he used half of my lane to pass a vehicle at a red , no signal - nothing. I doubt yall will do anything judging by the excessive 1 star reviews and constant complaints of your taxis cutting people off. Don’t ride with this company, nobody’s safety is even a concern for the drivers.

During our recent visit to Canmore, apex provided excellent service. He was always prompt, courteous, and went above and beyond. Five stars all the way!

Charged twice the price by Apex as other companies to go to the same location. They also charged $10 more than their price sheet stated. Terrible customer service.

Edit: Absolutely certain it was this company. Called the dispatch to report issue with driver regarding over changing and dispatcher was extremely rude. Three sisters cab was $15 less for same destination (and flawless service).

Had a driver show up 20 minutes late to pick us up. Then when we arrived at our location my partner needed to run upstairs to grab money as we’re not from Canada and our phone didn’t seem to be working when trying pay. My partner kindly said “I’m so sorry, I’ll just be a few minutes” and the driver proceeded to say “look if you need to do it, make it quick, you know I’m busy, you’re wasting my time” I thought this was very rude considering my partner was very apologetic, also considering his next passenger was being picked up at the same building so he needed to be there anyway and he was also 20 minutes late picking us up so I could have easily said he’d wasted my time but of course I wouldn’t do that because it’s extremely rude. I stayed by the car and he said to me “you people need to have money next time, you’re wasting my time” I then said “look, we’re not from here, our phones aren’t working and my partner will just be a few minutes.” After paying he then said to me a second time “you people have money next time!”
It’s safe to say that when we’re next in Canmore we will not be using apex again. I really cannot believe how rude, unprofessional and how uncomfortable that man made us feel.

This was all after calling apex a few days earlier and us waiting 45 minutes in the cold after being told they would only be 10-15 mins . After 45 minutes and no taxi showing up we decided to give up waiting.

If you are looking for excellent service and an overall great guy, Ahmad is the person you want. He drove my friends and I to and from destinations a few times during our last visit to Canmore and he was extremely reliable and provided top-notch service. 5 stars for sure.

Ahmad was great! He picked my friends and I up quickly and got us to where we were going quickly and safely. He was fun, accommodating, and very flexible. We were charged more than fairly for the trips we took. I would recommend Apex and Ahmad to anyone in Canmore!
