Well just had two crates delivered with apex. I’m super happy to see employees that do there absolute best to help the customer. I’m hoping apex shipping sees this review and gives Kevin a raise like he deserves. Apex you gotta good one that represents your brand do not loss him.

Had some tires delivered and the delivery driver was terrible. Refused to place tires on a rack, said he would remove the palate they were delivered on and then did not. "I'm just the delivery guy, I don't move things" Great service, could not be worse.

Terrible customer service. Terrible communication. I will never call this company again. I called Apex in October to arrange a pickup of a skid from a site in Toronto delivered to Kingston. They had questions regarding size and weight so I had to call the contractor in Toronto before being able to place the order. I called Apex back on Monday November 5th with the answers to their questions. They then asked more questions such as is it a dirt road or paved road. I called back again after getting that information and was then transferred from the dispatch department to the quotes department. Then after getting a quote had to be transferred back to the dispatch department where they told me to send an email with my request. I sent the email and received an automated response that my message had reached the server. I then got another email that was blank and only said "thank you for choosing apex motor express" with a signature and phone contact information for an employee. I had yet to receive confirmation that my order was going ahead or when it would be picked up, delivered etc. I responded to the blank email on Nov 6th asking if this meant that my order was going ahead and when it would be picked up. I got a response from John the dispatch manager saying it was scheduled for today (the 6th). I informed the place in Toronto that it was to be picked up today so they would be ready. I also responded to John's email at 9:18am with the site supervisors contact information in case there were any issues. I never received a response to that email. I emailed John again on Nov 6th at 2:04pm asking what the ETA was for the delivery to Kingston as we had to have someone meet the truck there with a forklift to get the skid off. I got no response. On November 7th they still had not picked up the skid from Toronto, John was not responding to my emails, phone calls or even my colleagues phone calls. We had people waiting at both sites for pickup and delivery and never got any updates from Apex. On November 7th I got a call from the place in Toronto that the skid was still there and that an Apex driver had shown up to a site across the street and when the site supervisor went over to say "I think you are supposed to be picking up over here" the driver argued with them and got in his truck and left. It turns out the vendor in Toronto had provided me with the wrong address which I had passed onto Apex. That is our fault not Apex so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt on that one. Granted they did show up to the "right" address as it was across the road. Finally after receiving no updates via email, calling john as well as customer service I found another company. I emailed John at 3:29pm on November 7th saying I wanted to cancel this pickup and received a response at 3:34pm from John saying noted and cancelled. I then went with Day & Ross who picked up the same day I made the order and had the skid delivered the day after. Day & Ross also did not ask the specific question related to the site location that Apex had asked. I am extremely disappointed with the communication and customer service from Apex. They did not even contact me to ask about the address when the driver didn't pick up the package. They hardly responded to my questions and the only time I received a prompt response was when I cancelled.

Customer service varies from good to nonexistent. Surcharge for not picking up goods immediately is extortionate and may not be stated upfront. Be aware.

Line-haul price is little less as compared to some other companies in town. But, Good to work with. Nice staff and service ?
