Hire literally any other mover! I would absolutely not recommend Apollo moving. To give a little background, I had spent weeks prior to my moving day packing all my belongings and moving them to my new house, and making sure nothing was in the way of furniture placement. Literally all the movers needed to do was wrap the remaining furniture pieces, load them into their truck, and unload them at our new house a short 10 minute drive away. I was moving from a one bedroom plus den condo, so had a total of about twenty pieces. It took the two movers more than 4 hours to pack the truck with said furniture (lasting well beyond the elevator booking), and they caused quite a bit of damage to the condo as well as my furniture in the process. Large scratch marks in the hardwood floor, dents and chips in the walls, and large holes in the back of furniture pieces as though they had put their foot through it. Unloading was not much better as they would “toss” furniture in general areas I asked (large chairs facing the walls, dressers blocking door ways, bed drawers left in the middle of our kitchen, etc.), and wouldn’t take bed frames up to the rooms (queen-size bed frame left in the middle of the living room, crib left in the middle of the stair landing). They would leave large items leaning against the truck for the wind to blow over and cause more damage. It got to the point where they would take items off the truck and my husband and I would move them into the house ourselves since we were on a time crunch at this point and wanted to be done. The two men who did the moving were also very rude, arriving two hours after the scheduled time, and drove past our condo’s driveway literally five times (unable to follow simple left and right turn instructions, so I had to stand outside in the middle of the rain waiving at them frantically so they wouldn’t miss the turn again). And finally, they did not finish the job. There was a furniture piece left in the new house that we had asked to have taken away and junked, knowing there would be an additional fee. The movers refused to look at the piece and just left our furniture scattered all over the house.

EDIT BASED ON MOVER’S REPLY: This is quite the tall tale, and a completely fabricated story (many details in the response do not align with what I noted in the review). My move took a total of 6 hours, 4 of which were spent loading my furniture. No furniture was disassembled or reassembled by the movers. I did not move into a condo, but rather a house where no service elevator even exists, and I was absolutely on site for both ends of the move. I do not appreciate the accusation that I locked the movers out or refused to pay them, as this is completely false. In fact, the movers insisted we sign and pay for the job before they completed unloading my furniture.
