Our cabin was refreshed with a very nice shower stall, kitchen backsplash with new flooring and fresh paint in every room. The location was perfect for our needs with easy access to Botwood and Northern Arm. The owners are so very friendly, welcoming and accommodating!!

We conveniently parked right in front of our cabin. There is a covered front porch with a garden bench.

The front room includes the den, dining table and kitchen. The kitchen has a refrigerator, an electric range with 4 burners and a good sized oven, a microwave, a toaster, dishes and flatware for four, mixing bowls, a medium sized sauce pan, 2 big pots and cooking utensils/knives. There was salt and pepper, dish soap, a kitchen trowel and a dish rack. For hot beverages there is a 5-cup coffee pot which uses small round filters and a kettle for hot water. Be sure to bring your favorite loose-ground coffee with filters and/or your favorite tea bags plus whatever sweeteners/creamers you like. And bring paper napkins/towels if you need them. There is a nice propane grill just beside the front porch that was ours to use, shared with the nextdoor cabin.

The dining table seats 4 and there is a wall-mounted TV and a sofa.

The bedrooms had comfortable beds with nice sheets, bedspreads and blankets.

The bathroom had a bottle of hand soap at the sink and nice bath towels, hand towels and washcloths.

The cabin was warm a few of the days of our stay, but it cooled off very nicely each night. There were 2 small fans that helped make things more comfortable.

There is a wonderful little covered pavilion on the grounds and access to a creek for swimming. There is also a swing set with plenty of room for running and playing!

Bottom line: this is a great place for ANY length stay and for ANY size group, from couples to big reunions!! And the owners are THE BEST!!! We definitely recommend staying here!!!

We went to botwood for a conference with agape Christian church. (We were going to stay in another local place but it was actually disgusting) we showed up at the oasis and the owner was very friendly. She was just about to leave for the weekend but she was kind enough to listen to us and show us a beautiful 2 bedroom cottage. It was so clean and beautiful. The bed were fabulous. The outside was beautiful. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back. And now I know of a little get away in Newfoundland

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Oasis this past summer.
They have recently finished renovations on all the rooms/cabins.
The cabins are simply stunning and it feels like a home away from home.
All the cabins come with all the comforts of home, from a full functioning kitchen right on up to cable TV.
I really just wanted to move in and stay, that is how comfortable I was.
The beds and linens are top of the line and extremely comfortable.
They also have laundry on site which makes it even more convenient when you're traveling.
Staying here was 10 times better than staying in a hotel.
There will be no other place we stay when I'm in central Newfoundland.
I saved the best for last as the owners are one of the nicest people you will ever meet. They made us feel welcome and wanted every day of our stay.
They are truly one of the kindest giving wonderful people we have ever met.
We are truly blessed to have met them.

This is our 3rd year back if you want a place to clear your head this is the place to go. So quiet and peaceful!! Close to salmon rivers and we can’t forget about the Bax’s pub across the street with awesome patrons. The units are very clean….we can always smell how clean they are when we walk in. Holly (the owner) you are such a sweet person you are so easy to deal with and you have accommodated us above and beyond! We appreciate you so much!! See you next year ❤️

I have been staying at the Oasis motel for a number of months and have found the place to have everything that is needed to make my stay very comfortable. The people who own the business are so very friendly and are there to help in any way they can. With Landry facilities on site , snow removal, and not having to worry about cutting grass in the summer is just some of the benefits of living here. As well with heat and lights included with rent I think it is worth every dollar ?. Anyone who may be looking to down size and try to not make a big impact on the environment this is definitely a possibility that you should look into. I also have to add the people who are currently renting here and the surrounding neighbors are very friendly and kind. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay.

Stayed at the updated Oasis Motel it was immaculate, the beds were comfortable and I could imagine how beautiful the location would be in the Summer.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed, and I have stayed in many bad places before, but this is the worst. Their cancellation policy is dodgy, we over booked an extra day, so the night before we went over to the receptionist and returned the keys telling them we will be leaving in the morning, when we checked our email we found out we were charged for that extra day anyway even when we cancelled the night before. We emailed them and got no reply. They promise free wifi, which you will not get. They put us in a cabin with a broken television and the kitchen sink was leaking. And if you want to sleep in after a tired night, you are out of luck, cause they start mowing the lawn and the break of dawn and that doesn't stop till the evening. The most unprofessional staff and a dodgy place to stay at best. Very expensive for what you get. Don't waste your money by going there. It's a pity such a nice natural location is exploited by dishonest owners like this!
