I was informed today that it is now a $5 fee for a cab with a car seat so the starting fee to go anywhere and use one of their car seats is $8.75 absolutely ridiculous we will no longer be giving associated cab our business-which is unfortunate as we utilized them everyday but with the increase in price we will be looking elsewhere as we cannot justify $20 plus tip for a 6 minute cab drive.

I would like to include I have always had a great experience with the drivers and dispatch just disappointed in the choice for the increase

2 cabs back to back refused to pick up a regular customer of mine that we called for because he's homeless and a little scruffy. This driver in the photo rolled his window up on me while I was talking to him and ignored me and his customer. This is not the first issue I've had with the Associated Cab / Alberta Gold combo. One of their drivers flew up over the aidewalk and almost hot me with their cab before and then cursed off at me when I caught up to him and confronted him for it. Another time we had a regular customer who was extremely heavy set and they would make him get out of the van cab in the middle of Little Gaetz into traffic. These last 2 in indents happened before I ever started posting any Google reviews, but today really got under my skin so I'll vent it all on here now. So as far as I'm concerned, if you ever need a cab, even if it costs you a couple bucks more, avoid the red deer cab monopoly of AC/AG and opt for any other cab service available.

Literally stole money from me because he needed a tip more than I needed my money dispatch is horrible to deal with too they will just hang up on you... they clearly encourage drivers to steal money

Awful customer service. We won’t be giving them our business anymore. We’ve had so many problems with dispatch and drivers. Sad to see other people have had so many problems too.

Very bad drivers roaming all around the city. I was turning left taking exit from Kingston Drive street and their taxi was going almost 65+ speed in 50km/hr zone at 1:14pm on 20th April 2023. Exact location-856J+39M Red Deer, Alberta. I was unable recognize the car number or taxi number but I’m sure he was alone with no customers in car.

I tend to not care for the drivers but tonight at 9:45pm I was in the taxi 119 and I had the worst experience. My driver was SPEEDING, ignored me, TEXTING AND DRIVING, TALKING ON THE PHONE and the whole car smelt so bad it gave me a headache.

I had a very very rude driver today. First I go to tell him the fastest way to my place that only had 2 lights. Before I even finish he cuts me off saying he has the address that's good enough. Rather than go the way I was going to tell him to go he goes the way there were 4 lights that had long waits, thus adding unnecessary costs to my bill. Then my bag was just touching his machine and he shoves it out of the way saying if I break it I pay. Very very poor service and I won't be taking your cab again.
