After dealing with the loss of my father Elizabeth had been very caring and helpful during this hard grieving process to make sure we understood everything and to make sure that we were okay with what was happing. From the moment I called and spoke to ashley to the meeting at the funeral home with Elizabeth I felt like everyone understood how me and my family felt and took into consideration that this was not easy for us. The staff here are impeccable in the support they offered and the empathy and gentleness they provided. It was the first time my mother and I had to deal with these arrangements, so we had no idea the breadth and depth of help that funeral homes provide. My father recently died and they took care of organizing and printing all of the government paperwork, they kept in regular touch with the minister who was doing the funeral service, made arrangements for the gravesite and gave us direction on where to go, who to see and what was required of us, they took care of cremation scheduling, the writing of the obituary, things you don’t think about when you are overwhelmed with grief. They made everything as easy as possible for us. Death is something we live in denial about and seldom think about until it happens, and the staff at the Atlantic Funeral Home in Sackville took care of virtually everything for us. It’s an essential service, and the staff here are so kind, knowledgeable, professional and helpful, and I honestly can’t thank them enough for getting us through such a difficult time.

I am writing a review for the Sackville location. I wanted to thank all the staff at the Atlantic Funeral Home. During such difficult time they were able to listen and carry out all of our requests. David was able to help us plan the funeral in a short time--addressing our cultural needs and requests. Rosslyn, our funeral director, a beautiful person who is passionate about her job. She was respectful, caring, thoughtful and professional. She ensured all the details were addressed and was there to support us during such difficult transition with any questions we had. Overall, we were happy with the services and the supporting staff. Everybody was pleasant and respectful, well organized.
