Great Local Market with Room to Improve

Berries Market is one of my favorite stores. It offers a great variety of products, and overall, the quality is solid. The freshly baked bread is absolutely delicious—definitely a highlight! The fruits and vegetables are always fresh and well-organized.

However, I do have a few concerns:
• I’m not a fan of the butcher section; I don’t feel the meat quality is up to standard.
• Also, some items are missing price tags, which can be frustrating while shopping.

On the positive side, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent, close to many services.

Overall, I really like this market and hope to see it continue to grow and improve—especially by paying more attention to small details that truly enhance the shopping experience.❤️

Have been shopping at berries since 4 years and always gave it a benefit of doubt that they will improve as we are supposed to support each other in the community, however, the experience has never been good and this was the last straw on my last visit there. The staff is very rude and does not deal professionally with customers specially the female staff. Wish they had some basic manners to attend customers.

Also the food on the shelf in fresh produce has nearly gone rotten some even had mould and they don't bother keeping fresh stock. There is no effort to maintain quality stock.

Horrible experience and i am done supporting. Each and every hard earned penny does not mean you waste in name of supporting that too nowadays where living has become even more expensive. Definitely not shopping here again!

Flyer prices are often great but when i went to buy the on sale fruits/vegetables, they had all gone bad. I noticed that many of the fruits and vegetables were a bit questionable. I hadn't been to this place in years and didn't realize the business had changed hands since name remained the same. Last I was there, it was rows and rows of fruits n veg but is now basically a middle eastern grocery of sorts. Plus side is that they had an assortment of peppers (veg) that are hard to find at normal grocers which is great, and their bakery items looked really good. There are a few aisles of nonperishable grocery items but I cant really comment on that because im not familiar with the foods/brands.

I bought a bunch of bananas and apples, and when I got home, they were already soft and turning brown. One apple was even moldy inside. I expected better quality from a fresh food store. Really disappointed.

I discovered this place by chance. We went to eat shawarma. The veiled woman was very nice and friendly. When we finished, we went to the cashier. She was also a beautiful girl with beautiful words. She was very kind and smiling. I loved this place because of their good treatment. I wish them a lot of sustenance.

اكتشفت هذا المكان بالصدفه ذهبنا لنأكل شاورما كانت المرأه المحجبه جدا لطيفه وودوده وعندما انتهينا ذهبنا للكاشير ايضا كانت فتاه جميله وكلامها جميل لطيفه مبتسمه جدا احببت هذا المكان بسبب معاملتهم الطيبه أتمنى لهم الرزق الكثير

Taste of food at the hot food section is good, but sometimes not very fresh. The lady working there is a bit rude, she doesn’t even answer properly when I ask for food. I went for the last time this Saturday and ordered the chicken plate meal. It’s advertised that plate includes hummus and salad, and the lentil soup is free. However, after I come home, I see hummus and salad are missing. They just added some lentil soup with their chicken with rice option and charged 14.99 cad.
