Hey Bison, perhaps hire drivers that know how to back their trucks up for deliveries. Was leaving a Giant Tiger yesterday in north Edmonton when i came out to find my car blocked in by a driver who had attempted to reverse into the Giant Tiger unloading dock but I guess he couldn't figure it out. Instead he asked me to help him back up!!! I'm sorry but if you don't know how to back up a semi properly, how in the world did he ever get a license let alone a job driving for any company? Oh yes he most likely paid a friend for the license and obviously lied about driving experience. I am not the one with the class 1 license, nor do I work for Bison, therefore shouldn't have to help one of YOUR drivers to do HIS job. In fact if he cannot do his job which is very apparent as he doesn't even know how to back up, then he shouldn't have that job.

Your ignorant driver parked in fuel island while other drivers waiting to fuel over 20 min drivers waited to get in island. Then your driver decided to try be ignorant with a driver that said something to him and then your driver took aggressive approach with other driver. Now 78425 pulls off fuel island and parks in middle of parking lot as can see in picture posted. See the driver on road watch out he not safe driver flying through truck stop parking lot. Wow great driver there l!!!

Nice company fast response . Intercom attending staff are also very nice and gental . Mr Liam is very humble and happy guy whenever i go to yard at gate he answer very politely . 👍

With Bison over 19 years now as open board longhaul driver running US and Canada. Steady miles, home time-off as requested, reliable equipment and great team in the office and on the road (managers, planners, dispatchers, mechanics, office staff and other drivers) are the biggest influence in my staying here. With Bison's "right to decide" policy the driver and public at large are safer on our highways. This too has influenced me and contributed to over 2 million accident free miles in my driving career here.

Not a very good company to drive for. This is only for a man/woman that has no life or family cause you'll hardly ever be home. Usually home requests are never met on the date asked for and if you complain about it they'll just get mad at you & may reject your next request. On saying that they will start you off long haul and keep you there...requests for better positions or runs providing better home time will be ignored. Also the $ is terrible...even if you have many years of experience. I was taking home $3000/month average and was running fairly hard. One can make more $ hauling fuel and be home every night. Bison is just another terrible trucking company that cares only about the $ and not the human driver.

I was driving on highway 216 and just passed 100 ave and a bison transport truck was in the left lane next to me . A 2' pry bar came flying off the back of the truck. It bounced into the lane in front of me and got wedged under my car.

I spoke with one guy from Bison transport who told me they have GPS and he would be able to track the truck if I gave them the time and location it was a screen shot of the location on Google maps with the time in the corner.

Now they are saying there was 30 trucks in that area I gave them the exact pinpoint location and the exact time give or take 2 minutes they have GPS on there trucks.

Now they are telling me to "PROVE IT" . Yeah I didn't get a plate or truck number because I was scared that the pry bar now jammed under my car would either come through my floor board or end up hitting another vehicle so I was just focused on getting pulled over safely.

I can assure you there wasn't one other Bison truck at that exact location at that time let alone 30.

My Dad works for Bison Transport. He drives a semi ( Tractor-trailer) he drives in the City ( Edmonton Alberta). My dad really likes working for Bison Transport. He works very long hours, making deliveries to places like Walmart, Leon's just to name a couple. He likes the people he works with. This is a very demanding job.

this company is advertising driver refresher program but its only for people who did melt, as in newly qualified. So not a refresher, basically FOB's. if this company can do such a false advertisement, i dont know how does it keeps and treats its employees. Dont waste your time with such a company.
