I have used their pick up service quite a few times for Airport/Train Station drop off, very reliable service and always on time. Owner is very helpful too.

Got stuck at Mount Pakenham on a Thursday night because of no Ubers available. I'm an American tourist so I didn't know the area beforehand. Plenty of rides to get there, but no rides to go back home.

This was the first taxi company I called. It was a 30 minute wait between me calling and them finding a driver for me, but they did call me back when they said they would. It couldn't have been easy to find a driver on such short notice.

The driver they sent to me even drove me to the ATM to get cash before paying him. I'll always be thankful for their service and availability. I don't want to know what would have happened if I waited an hour later to call them on a cold night.

I have mixed reviews.. Let me explain.
I pre-arranged a pick up last week to take me from Carleton Place to YOW airport. The pickup time was 3am so I was very nervous about a no-show based on some reviews I've read, but this was my only option. I called again the day prior to the ride and confirmed the pickup again. The dispatcher said no problem and read the details to me that they had on file, so I felt more at ease. Then at 2:50am this morning, I called again to make sure the driver was on the way. The dispatcher said "yep, she's on her way" and in the background I hear a voice over a radio say "What? I didn't know about that one". But I was already hanging up when I heard it. Then my cab shows up right at 3am (thankfully!) so I asked the driver if she knew about the pick up and she said "no, luckily I live nearby and wasn't busy. I started my shift at 6pm last night and nobody mentioned this ride to me".

PROS: My driver was wonderful - very friendly and enjoyable to talk to! She even waited outside the airport to make sure I checked in okay with my pet, as I had some concerns of being denied boarding. She waited until I waved at her before she drove off (thank you sooo much!!)

CONS: Despite booking ahead and confirming again the day prior, if I hadn't called at 250am, my cab would have been late/not showed at all. It was by sheer luck that the driver wasn't busy with another call and happened to live nearby. I would be very hesitant to trust them in the future if you urgently needed to be somewhere..

When I called for a taxi, I was told it was going to be $14 only to be told by the driver that it was $16. Then he tried to act like he did not have change for a $20. Seems to be either a lack of communication or the driver just wanted more money for himself. First time taking a taxi here in CP and the last.

If there was any other cab option available I'd support it.
Someone PLEASE start UBER here so we can have RELIABLE cabs

This company is horrible even Smiths Falls is somehow better (another town with only one company and sp many vehicles).

Called a cab was told I had to wait 45minutes YET AGAIN. So I waited outside my house. After 45minutes I called back and they told me the cab driver was here for 15minutes before leaving.

Then waited another half hour called back got told it was a 6minute drive away and it still took another 40minutes.

Not impressed.

This is a total lie as we were on the porch waiting. We had been waiting for over half an hour.

Icy roads, snowing, but omg this was the smoothest ride. My driver was very kind, patient and I had to give him a good tip 🙂 when I'm coming back and need a cab, I'm calling here 🙂 better than Uber by far
