After 22 emails and two phone calls we finally got our delivery five days late. The customer service on the phone was sassy after telling me it will be Tuesday now not Saturday, she said the online request “goes to no where” even tho someone had already responded to my online request through email. On Wednesday the delivery finally arrived and the driver looked at me and said “this is only curb service, two of you couldn’t lift this”, we did. Horrible five days of sleeping on the floor in true wildfire refugee status, we had hoped we were done with that in August. Don’t bother using their website that falsely states “overnight… speedy door to door delivery”.

On Wednesday November 8th, Buffalo dropped by for a scheduled pickup. I am going blind to a rare eye disease, and need to keep my curtains closed. This was explained to Dawn, at Buffalo Air Express. They assured me they would not have any issues with my disabilities.
The driver sat in the back lane for at least 20 minutes, he never got out of his truck. The next thing I know, Dawn from Buffalo Air Express calls me. I missed the first call, made it to the second. She was extremely rude. It was explained to her, for a second time, that I am disabled, the sun hurts my eyes, so the curtains need to be kept closed.
She started to scream down the phone at me, and refused to listen. Fast forward to Thursday November 9th. I called Buffalo, to speak with Dawn. They informed me that they do not want me as a customer, as they do not like disabled people. They also tried to tell me that their driver had tried my door, and that’s not true. My dog would have barked, and he did not.
What we have here is a driver who lies, and a dispatcher who believes every word he says without first asking questions to figure out what the problem is.
Buffalo Air Express, I will not stop telling people what you did to me. I have the skills to build websites, and you can bet there will be a website built about this. It is illegal to deny service to the disabled, just because you don’t like us. I am not going away. You stepped on my rights, mocked me and called me a liar. When I asked to speak to the CEO or a manager, Dawn told me they were not available for me to speak with. Had she transferred the call, this post would never have happened, and nor would the website about this issue. It would have been easier to do the right thing.
Folks, avoid businesses like this. How would you feel if your disabled relative was treated like a subhuman? Would you not boycott the offending business and make sure that everyone knows what they did? And I bet Dawn lies to her bosses. You can lie all you want Dawn, you singled out a disabled person. Such a classy human.
UPDATE: One of the employees at Buffalo Air Express took it upon themselves to use my credit card without my permission, and they more than doubled my shipping weight from 45 lbs. to 100 lbs. Always weigh your shipment before it leaves, and check your invoices to make sure Buffalo is not ripping you off as well. This type of behaviour is reprehensible.

Use this service to receive goods at the camp I work at up in Norman Wells, always good service - it can get expensive but that's what comes with living up in the north. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Location is easy to find and was fairly simple process. I did have to go around back to drop off the packages so make sure you don't carry them to the front door because they will make you go through the back, which is no issue. I would recommend this service to anyone looking to ship something up here definitely and not hesitate.

All my husband's belongings were left behind when he was medevacked from Yellowknife to Edmonton. I had a friend pick them up and ship his phone and ID down to us so we could fly home. Overnight service is guaranteed! Awesome!

I have never had any issues with Buffalo Air. They have the best rate I could find for shipping from Edmonton to the NWT. Quotes are always processed quickly.
Update 2024 they still rock!!
