If you value your time, your rights, or even basic human respect — stay far away from Loomis Express.

My parcel was marked as "delivery attempted" twice, even though I was home all day with the door unlocked. Not once did the driver knock, ring the bell, or try to enter the building. They simply left a notice and drove away.

I called customer service, and they promised it would be delivered the next day — I even took a day off work to wait for it. Guess what? Same story: no knock, just another fake delivery notice. When I called back, I could literally hear laughter in the background, as if they were mocking my frustration.

To make matters worse, when I started referencing my legal rights and Canadian consumer laws, the live chat agent “Janet” immediately ended the chat without helping me. That’s not customer service — that’s avoidance and disrespect.

I have officially filed complaints with the:

Better Business Bureau (BBB)

Ontario Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery

Competition Bureau of Canada

Loomis Express has shown a complete lack of professionalism, transparency, and accountability. They’ve made false claims, failed to provide updates, and refused to communicate — all of which I’ve documented.

I strongly urge anyone considering Loomis to think twice. If you’ve experienced the same, speak up — and report them. They do not deserve to operate this way.

I see why everyone is unhappy. I would give it only one star if I could. My package was returned to sender and it was never delivered in the first place! Package tracker says the package was received at there facility, then got delayed for 5 days, and then it was sent back to the sender in the US after those 5 days without even leaving for my address! Horrible.

If you live in an apartment complex, you know for sure you will have to pick up your package at their facilities. Honetly, I don't even know if they make real attempts to deliver packages regardless of where you live.

We just had a delivery today and I saw afterwards on my camera that my children left a hockey net in the middle of the driveway. The driver took extra time to move it out of his way so he could pull in. My apologies for that being in your way- Appreciate the extra time you took. Thank you!

They tried to drop off a package at 7:35 am ripped off the bottom haft of my pick up ticket and left it on the front door of my apartment building even tho they had the buzzer to go to my door they never used it. Dip daps ticket says we make two attempts, they don’t. They are only open 8-9am and 4-6 pm at office on weekdays. they don’t take calls or update your tracking on weekends. Literally could’ve driven to Toronto faster. But all in all this company be crapz

Very frustrating experience trying to get my package. They tried to deliver it but I was not home so they left a paper slip saying it would be available the next day after noon. I kept looking on the tracking and it kept saying “in transit”.

After 4pm the next day, I went to the ONLY Canpar/Loomis location in Kingston. I looked on Google as well as on the actual Canpar website to confirm.

Drove all the way out to this location, was nearly unable to find it, finally found it and they said my package was at a downtown location. The guy working was kind fortunately, was not his fault obviously.

Went to the downtown location and they said they did not have my package. I saw a package that looked like it could have been mine (I ordered 2 records) and I made him check it. It was it! Thankfully. Had I not pushed, I would not have received my package and would have wasted another trip on trying to find it.

It was not my decision to order through Canpar and I’m truly going to try and avoid it in the future. I have never had such a frustrating experience before!

I had a package sent by DHL which used Loomis as the local delivery courier. I opted to pick it up from the depot after receiving a notification that they attempted delivery but I wasn't home, even though I was home and they never came by at all.

The place looks very sketchy and can be a bit tricky to find but the staff was very nice and only took a minute to grab my parcel. Their hours are very limited and could be a big inconvenience.

If you're sent here by DHL, please know that their tracking information is garbage and you'll get more information by searching your waybill number with Loomis' tracking.

After receiving a very vague notice card of "attempted delivery" with no info on where or when to pick up my package. I tried calling, but no one ever answered, no matter which option I pressed. So I stopped by the Gardiners Rd location (after Googling Canpar Kingston) only to be advised they didn't have my package. They directed me to 525 Brock St. Upon arriving, I saw that this place was a random convenience store with zero Canpar signage. Inside was no different, and although the man there helped me ultimately get my package, they certainly weren't set up in any way one would expect a courier drop off point to be. He had everything written down in a literal notebook, with people's tracking numbers, phone numbers, etc. After flipping through it several times, and asking me to also look at the notebook to find myself, he eventually seemed satisfied that I was who my ID identified me as. He also made me type my own name into his phone, and get my package off a stack of other packages piled haphazardly in the middle of an isle. Everyone I dealt with during this adventure was very nice, and I don't blame them at all, but the entire process seems very stupid and was quite a frustrating run around for me. Canpar didn't do anything to deliver my package as a courier should, despite having my phone # the entire time. Would not recommend ever dealing with this bs company.
